Where was this screenshot obtained? Was it one of FuturamaFreak1's colour jobs? Or is there a coloured trailer or some such available I have not seen? --Svip 19:49, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- It appears that I was right. I need to debate our stance on such content. My arguments against its use are as such:
- We do not do fan art or fan fiction or any of the like. Generally, 'no tolerance' to keep the slate clean, but we can make exceptions if it boosts the quality or usability of the topic at hand.
- It may confuses readers, who will think that a coloured version of the animatic is available somewhere or that the episode have somehow been released or some such.
- And of course my arguments for:
- It is just a better looking version of the original image we were using. And while it doesn't provide that much new content to the article, it certainly isn't unwelcome.
- But regardless, it will need a new name 'Rebirth Screenshot' is hardly specific. I'd prefer '6ACV01 Fan coloured animatic screenshot.png' instead. --Svip 19:54, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

- I'm against using it. In addition to the reasons above, the image is distorted. In the original, the animatic recorded with a camera from a screen, the picture is at an angle; we can see this agle because it has not been cropped. This has been cropped which makes it look as though Farnsy's head was squished. - Quolnok 02:08, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- I had corrected the perspective before I lined and colored it, so the image is not distorted. If you looked at the video posted a little higher up, you'd know that. I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out if you want to use it or not. Futurama Freak1 11:44, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

I think Svip is right, since it can actually confuse readers. Why don't you change the name? That would be good if readers point at the image. — TheFry20:35, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- ok, uploaded it under File:6ACV01 Fan coloured animatic screenshot.png. i edited the Template:Episode infobox to include image text. keep or revert? --I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 22:51, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
