Plagarizing Stanislaw Lem?

I'm a little bit concerned with how this "Futurama theorem" is highly derivative of Stanislaw Lem's short story "The Mischief of King Balerion" (link: https://books.google.com/books?d=&id=c_b5coNEYpoC). There's also no attempt to cite Lem's massive influence on the plot and the "theorem".
