Na'vi

Is the society of blue-skinned natives similar in appearance to the Na'vi? Because, if it is, we got ourselves a second Avatar reference and a brand new Allusions section. Sanfazer 23:35, 22 February 2011 (CET)

Probably. It looks like there will be three movie parodies in this issue. Another one of which is Mad Max. - Quolnok 09:27, 23 February 2011 (CET)
I didn't have in mind that the comic is not out yet when I asked about their appearance, so my question was kind of stupid. But if Avatar keeps getting this many references, we just might have enough content to create an article for it. Would that be a good idea? (What's the third parody, BTW?) Some movie with "a dusty, Old Western town under the thumb of a vengeful outlaw". So a western, but I have no idea which. - Quolnok 09:31, 24 February 2011 (CET)
Not really a Western guy, though I am a Portuguese one. Get it? Sanfazer 22:08, 24 February 2011 (CET)
Based on some Googling, I'd say the western was a movie called Black Bart, purely due to the character name. Not sure if that plot segment matched at all. The character seems to though. Trivia: I haven't seen any of the three movies parodied here. - Quolnok 13:28, 13 June 2011 (CEST)
