Why exactly are we using the generic "man with tattoo" and "man with glasses" names when their actual names are known? It makes the article an absolute pain to read. Furthermore, there's a handful of other characters whose names are only revealed in the commentaries, such as April and Soupy. Why would this be any different? -UnrealLegend (talk) 04:17, 25 March 2014 (CET)
UnrealLegendhttp://theinfosphere.org/index.php?title=Street-racing_gang&diff=141809Street-racing gang2014-02-05T12:04:21Z
UnrealLegend: Their names were confirmed in the commentary. The street-racing gang consists of four members — Bazzo, Jibby, a girl named Minx, and Benniton, who is nicknamed Benny. 7ACV15 According to Bazzo, they usually rap about their problems. Smitty and URL have been trying to bust them for years.
Seymour Asses, or Seymour for short, was Fry's dog before he was frozen. Fry adopted him in August 1997 when he was barely more than a puppy. Fry had been called to a prank address (Seymour Asses, or "See more asses") and was devouring the useless pizza, when a skinny young dog begged for a piece of it. Fry was eager to share his meal, and the dog adopted him as master and started to follow him around. He acquired the name of the prank address and lived at Panucci's Pizza from then on, acting as resident dog and food taster. On the fateful night of 31 December, 1999, when Fry was frozen, Seymour didn't want to let him go on the delivery, but Fry told him to wait at Panucci's until he was back. Seymour started to look for Fry the following morning, and found him at Applied Cryogenics. He even managed to lead Fry's father and mother there, but they failed to realize Fry was there and dragged Seymour out again. For the rest of his life, Seymour sat outside Panucci's Pizza waiting for the return of his master, as the world around him changed and, eventually, he died in front of the abandoned pizza shop. Some time later, his body was fast-fossilized, making it possible to clone him. The outer rind was made of dolomite, a heat-resistant mineral that allowed him to survive a lava bath. When Fry learned that Seymour had lived out his life without him, he had the cloning process stopped, as he believed Seymour had forgotten him, never realizing that Seymour had been ready to spend eternity .

In Bender's Big Score, it is revealed that Bender destroyed Panucci's Pizza, and the fire fast-fossilized Seymour. It is also revealed, happily, that while Seymour did live outside Panucci's Pizza for 12 years, he was actually attended to by a time paradox duplicate of Fry (aka Lars Fillmore) who lived in its upstairs storage room, and therefore, was never actually alone.

Additional Info
Trivia
* Seymour's major appearances were in "Jurassic Bark" and "Game of Tones", as well as one in the comic "Homeward Boned", but he has had cameos in other episodes:
** He was seen in his fossilised state at Fry's funeral in "The Sting".
** He had minor appearances in Bender's Big Score, when Bender and Fry travels back to the 21st century.
** In "A Clockwork Origin", Hermes found a fossilised dog and threw it away, believing it's "another one of Fry's dogs".
*Seymour is a reference to Hachikō, a dog who waited at a train station every day for his owner. One day while at work, Hachikō's owner died, and Hachikō continued to wait at the train station. He came to the station every day appearing exactly when the train arrived every day for 9 years until he died. His death happened in 1935 and in Japan in the station there is a statue dedicated to Hachikō. It was confirmed by Adam Bohn (Founder of Artix Entertainment) that this episode is a Hachikō reference.
*Seymour was seen laying down and presumably dying at the end of "Jurassic Bark", although his fossilized remains are always animated as standing up. This is explained (possibly retconned) in Bender's Big Score.
*Seymour made a cameo appearance in the add-on for the video game Fallout: New Vegas entitled "Lonesome Road". The Planet Express headquarters is located on the west side of Manhattan on 57th Street in New New York. The building includes a tower and a hangar, as well as a seaside facility. The tower is directly connected to the rooms, and rooms such as the conference room and Farnsworth's laboratory have a clear view of the hangar behind it. The building is also home to Professor Farnsworth and his clone.

At the top of the tower is an attic. There also seems to be a lift from the top of the tower to the bottom of the complex. Below the headquarters is a limestone cavern, where the Professor on occasion uses the elements of the Earth itself to clone things.

When exactly the building was constructed remains unknown, but it is safe to say that it was before 2961, when the company was founded 6ACV15.

In 3013, the building was modified to be a fire department shortly before a fire partially destroyed the building 7ACV18.

Interior
There are many rooms in the Planet Express headquarters, and some rooms also change position whenever the writers need it. And some rooms are only shown once or twice, purely for the purpose of a scene.

Attic
The attic is a large, round room in which inventions like the Smell-O-Scope are kept 1ACV08. It can be extracted entirely from the building through a cord to perform tasks such as shooting Diamondium at enemies TBwaBB.

Hangar
The largest and most important room and the heart of the operation of Planet Express, in here, the Planet Express ship is kept, which requires no lane to take off, although, there is an option for angling the floor up to assist in a take off of the ship. The hangar has direct access to the conference room and Farnsworth's laboratory. In Futurama (video game), the Hangar is big enough to fit two Planet Express ships in it, but the game is not considered canon.

Conference room
The conference room consists of the conference table, where all meetings at the company are held. The conference room also includes a kitchen from the opposite side of the hangar, as well as a chemical shower. There is also a big monitor, where videos are often shown, especially educational films. A holographic projector is also used frequently. The conference room overlooks the hangar as well, connecting with the employee lounge.

The conference room as also been referred to as the "mandatorium" by the Professor.

The Chamber of Understanding
The Chamber of Understanding is a dome where the Professor spends his time trying to understand things. It comes down from the ceiling and doesn't require turning any switch to be activated. A disco ball is also anchored to the top of the dome, and disco music is played when someone is inside the chamber.

Locker room
The locker room consists of the lockers and also a unisex shower room. The locker room appears to be accessible from the conference room.
There is a sign on the door that reads "No pointing and laughing" BG.

Farnsworth's laboratory
Underneath the conference room is Farnsworth's laboratory. In here, Farnsworth spends most of his time working on his many inventions. In "The Inhuman Torch", this room was cleared out and fitted with bunk beds for the crew to sleep in.

Bedrooms
While the rest of their crew live in their own apartments, houses and dumpsters, the Professor and his clone Cubert live at the Planet Express Headquarters permanently. The Professor's bedroom is first seen in "The Lesser of Two Evils", and later again in Bender's Game. Cubert's bedroom was first seen in "A Clockwork Origin". It is also possible that Scruffy lives at the Planet Express Headquarters, since it is shown that he has a bed in "That Darn Katz!", but it could also just be for resting. Dr. Zoidberg lives in a dumpster just outside the headquarters.

Lobby
Just inside the front door is the lobby. It is only really used when they are greeting new people; however a small door leads directly into Hermes' office. The main door includes intuitive features such as "slam!".

Employee lounge
Employee lounge
The favourite room by the company's employees, where they spend most of the time watching television and hanging out. Besides a TV, there is a coffee table as well as a sofa near the window. At the other end of the room is a dining table and some chairs.

While the employee lounge leads to the conference room on one side, the other door seems to lead to whatever the writers find appropriate; the toilet, the kitchen, the hallway, the hangar and much more.

Hermes' office
Hermes Conrad, being the company's bureaucrat, has his own office, which he keeps tidy for the mandatory inspections that occur now and then. Beside a table, it includes a tube connected to the Central Bureaucracy, a disintegrator and stamp devices of all kinds. His office is located directly underneath the employee lounge.

Zoidberg's office
The staff doctor of the company, Dr. Zoidberg has his own office as well, though, Dr. Zoidberg is unfortunately not that knowledgeable of humans, so his office seems to be somewhat strangely furnished, with a diagram of a human upside down. His office also seems to have a depot for the company attached at the back.

Fry's office
While usually not in use, Philip J. Fry has on occasion been granted with his own office, located next to the office of Hermes. It first appeared in "How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back", after Morgan Proctor promoted Fry to "executive delivery boy". Fry's office later reappeared in "Future Stock".

Accusing parlour
A seldomly visited room wherein a member of the company can describe a certain crime which have been under way at the company, and finally reveal the culprit. The accusing parlour is designed in a dark early 1920s style, reminiscing much like housing in Hercule Poirot's time. With a grandfather clock, bookshelves and of course, big furniture. There is a room with a similar design to the parlour which appeared in "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles" and "31st Century Fox". It has several bookshelves, as well as a moose head. In "The Inhuman Torch", the parlour is shown to be located in the basement of the building.

Boiler room
A downstairs room where the plasma-fusion boiler is located. Scruffy often spends time down here, and in can be seen sleeping on the job here in the game. The room is below ground level; directly underneath Hermes' office.

Incinerator
It's seen twice. Once in the hangar, and, mysteriously, in Hermes' office 3ACV11.

Farnsworth Lanes
Farnsworth Lanes

A bowling alley located deep underneath Planet Express; one floor below the accusing parlor

Sub-basement
An underground basement accessed via either an elevator or a flight of stairs. A pool of lava sits in the center of the basement which flows deep into the Earth's core. The leads to it being targeted by certain alien invaders such as the Thubanians and Flamo. Otherwise, it's typically used for experiments by Amy Wong and Professor Farnsworth and can be used to power the Clone-O-Mat.

Angry Dome
An exterior dome where the Professor goes when he is angry 4ACV01.

Balcony
On the riverside of the building, there is a balcony where the crew spends time on hot days. The balcony has a Freedom tub, which was once filled with Goat vomit.

Tower
The tower holds many of the Professor's inventions, but before it was used as a control tower to oversee the take-off of the Planet Express ship.

Widow's Walk
The tower is surrounded by a large circular railed platform, known as a Widow's Walk. The platform was not constructed with the original building, and was only added after the disappearance of the first Planet Express crew. The Professor keeps vigil on the platform for the return of the crew. The name of the company is integrated as part of the railing, and faces the street.
Cohen]] mentions on the commentary of the film that they intended for the location of the building to be on West 57th Street, Manhattan, New New York. Because of its location next to the Hudson River, the intersecting street is most likely Henry Hudson Parkway, however, its futuristic incarnation is a much narrower road than Henry Hudson Parkway in the present day. Another possible location is the FedEx building on 49th Street.

In "Viva Mars Vegas", Clamps puts the dumpster on 72nd street, and then the dumpster is shown in front of the ventilation fans on the rear end of the building. That would put the front end (address) of the building one street away.

In "The Inhuman Torch", the building's location is shown on a map of New New York.

Neighbours
There is a lesbian coven next door 3ACV21, and a Pottery Barn across the street 2ACV14. [[Philip J. There is also a pizzeria owned by Cygnoids, in which Bender temporarily gets a job when put into the witness relocation programme 6ACV14.
The Worms of Colón are sentient, mutualistic tapeworms that used to inhabit Fry's bowels. They entered Fry from an egg salad sandwich that he ate from a service station bathroom's vending machine, which contained the Worms' reproductive spores. Once in his body, the Worms immediately began to strengthen his body's systems, and led to Fry and Leela briefly being together. After the most of the Planet Express crew failed in their mission to evict the worms by irritating the pelvic splanchnic ganglion, Fry decided to get rid of them after feeling that Leela loved only what the Worms had made of him. Via a micro-droids, Fry forced the Worms to leave by threatening to cut his medulla oblongata, which would have killed him and the Worms.
After Amy presented her thesis at Mars University in 3010, the Thubanian leader followed her to the Planet Express headquarters. Richard M. Nixon's head is a world-leading politician. He was the president of the United States between 1969 and 1974. In the 31st century, he has became a head in a jar and has been the president of Earth since 3000, with a short interruption by the Decapodians in 3003 4ACV05 and another one by Lrrr in 3010 6ACV11. Nixon has himself stated that he has become crazy over the years 2ACV03.

President of the United States
Richard Milhous Nixon was born in 1913, and became the President of the United States in 1969. Nixon was president when the USA claimed to send the first men to the Moon in 1969, but as was revealed much later, the moon landing was in reality a hoax, as it was all filmed on Venus.

Nixon resigned from office in 1974, as a direct result of what became known as the Watergate scandal. He died from a stroke in 1994.

President of Earth
Little is known of what Nixon did between his death and the year 3000, though it is known that he had his resuscitated head put in a jar, and spent some time in the Presidential wing of the Head Museum (1ACV01). Nixon dislikes being a head, though—he was extremely fond of his old body, and describes it as "flabby, pasty-skinned, riddled with phlebitis—a good Republican body".

Later that year, however, he ran a successful dark horse campaign, and was elected President of Earth, sweeping the robot vote with his charismatic new robotic body 2ACV03. This body also was the reason why he could become president for a third time (after twice in the 1900s): while no body can be president more than twice, Nixon had a brand new body. Nixon's vice president was the Headless body of Agnew.

As a tax refund when Earth came into a budget surplus, Richard Nixon printed a series of $300 "Tricky Dick Fun Bills" to be distributed to all Earthicans in 3004 4ACV16, with his picture on it. According to a deleted scene, the bill automatically registered a vote for Nixon causing him to win the 3004 elections.

In 3008, he won the 3008 elections. In 3009, vice president Headless body of Agnew was killed by the Feministas in an accident. It is not known who took the position of vice president since, if anyone. However, it could have been Dick Cheney's head.

In 3010, Nixon resigned from the Presidency when Lrrr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8, invaded 6ACV11. Nixon regained office afterwards, as he was seen with Zapp Brannigan trying to come up with a solution with the common cold crisis 6ACV24.

In 3012, Nixon tries to win over potential voters for another term by promising to build a fence around the solar system to keep out illegal immigrants. Nixon's only real competition was Senator Chris Travers, whom he tried to mud-sling by spreading rumors about him not being Earthican. After Senator Travers's birth was broadcast on live television, more people voted for Travers, causing him to win the elections. By doing so, however, he created a paradox (as the only reason he came to the past was to stop Nixon's re-election) and he disappeared, leaving nothing to stand in the way between Nixon's fourth term in office.

Future
According to Chris Travers, shortly after Nixon's third inauguration, he had the fence around the southern border of the Sol System constructed, as he promised. Without alien immigrants to perform menial jobs on Earth, the economy collapsed, causing mass starvation across the planet. Faced with an angry mob, Nixon responded with a bold solution: by rounding up the protesters and converting them into food for the remaining Earthican masses. With a sizable portion of the working class eliminated, robots were then forced to fill in for performing labor once performed by humans. This caused an unrest amongst robots worldwide, leading them revolt against humanity, under the leadership of B.B.Rodríguez. The situation was so dire that a teenager from 3028 is sent back in time to prevent Nixon from winning the elections.

Production
Nixon makes the "Aroo!" noise because he reminds Billy West of a werewolf and also his performance is partially based on the way Anthony Hopkins portrayed the man in Oliver Stone's 1995 film "Nixon".
Trivia
* Richard Nixon's head is an extra in the Toynami Futurama collectible of Zapp Brannigan.Underneath it is a peg. This peg is used for connecting Nixon to Bender's body when you remove his head. This is a reference to "A Head in the Polls", in which Nixon bought Bender's body so that he can be elected again since the law says, "nobody can be elected twice".
*Nixon is known to join the Robot Devil for poker nights.
*Nixon's huge robot body from "A Head in the Polls" makes a re-appearance in Futurama Comics #41, "Soldier Boys".
*On the commentary for "The Prisoner of Benda", Billy West explains that his catchphrase for Nixon ("Arrooo!") originated from when he was a child. He was watching a debate between Nixon and John F. Kennedy on TV, and Nixon appeared to be very sweaty and hairy. Everytime the camera cut back to Nixon, Billy said his 5 o'clock shadow got thicker and thicker, so he said to his Mom "He's turning into a werewolf!" and made the infamous "Arrooo!" sound.
El Chupanibre is a sewer monster who once terrorized the mutants below New New York. He is a giant green humanoid lizard with massive yellow teeth and claws. He was flushed down a colossal toilet to the sub-sewer by Bender in the course of saving Nibbler. But in later episodes, he is seen back in the regular sewers.

It can be inferred that El Chupanibre might once have been a common animal or even human that was transformed into its current shape via the mutagenic properties of the sewage.

Additional Info
Trivia
*The name "El Chupanibre" is a play on the Puerto Rican and Mexican myth of El Chupacabra, which means "the goat-sucker". The monster supposedly sucks the blood of goats and other livestock. However, the suffix "nibre" is gibberish, so the name "Chupanibre" has no direct translation. The nibre part of his name could also be a pun on Nibbler.
Project Satan was a military project. He was constructed from the most evil parts of the most evil cars in the world. Some pieces includes:
*Steering wheel from Hitler's staff car
*Left Turn signal from Charles Manson's Volkswagen
*Windshield Wipers from the car that played Knight Rider (KITT)
*Ed Begley's electric motor, the most evil propulsion system ever conceived
Project Satan is the first thing that transmitted the Were-Car curse to Calculon, while he was still a robot arm. Project Satan lived in the Anti-Chrysler Building, where he was destroyed by the Planet Express crew in 3001.

Additional Info
Trivia
*Since Project Satan was made by cannibalizing the parts of other cars, he is more like Frankenstein's monster than a werewolf.
*Despite running on an electric motor, Project Satan still makes the sound of an internal combustion engine when it drives.
Yivo is a huge, planet-sized alien from another universe in which Yivo dwells alone (in contrast to ours, where we are many). Because there are no others like Yivo, Yivo has no determinable gender, and thus instead of "he" and "she", the word "shklee" shall be used, as well "shklim" or "shkler" to replace "him" or "her". Yivo is super-sentient, and can communicate coherently with 20 quadrillion beings, all simultaneously. Sklee can also do 20 quadrillion simultaneous tasks.

Biography
Yivo has existed for longer than our universe has existed, so shklee may be older than the Nibblonians. Accordingly Yivo had a stamp collection until shklee realized shklee was alone.

It was not until the Anomaly appeared that Yivo got shkler chance to end shkler loneliness. Through the Anomaly came Philip J. Fry, who was lonely and depressed due to his recent breakup with his girlfriend Colleen and possibly his inability to ever get in a relationship with Turanga Leela. In Yivo's universe, they met and created a relationship.

Yivo then decided to get emotionality attached with everyone in Universe Gamma — this universe — with shkler tentacles that could reach everywhere. However, at first the people of Universe Gamma weren't pleased with the thought of having the tentacles in their world until they were attached, at which the apparent brainwashing forced them to like it—this quickly turned out not to be the case, as they had actually fallen in love.

However, Turanga Leela managed to avoid getting attached by pretending to already have with a pink garden hose. She then revealed to everyone that Yivo's tentacles weren't at all tentacles, but "gentacles," meaning that Yivo had been mating with everyone in Universe Gamma. Yivo explained that shkler plan was simply to mate with Universe Gamma, but quickly agrees to call it off and pulls the tentacles/gentacles out of everyone.

The people of Universe Gamma agree to go on a date with Yivo. But when Yivo doesn't seem to be making any kind of commitment, they decide to dump shklim. However, when they prepare to give shklim the news, Yivo proposes to Universe Gamma, and they accept. Everyone in Universe Gamma enters Yivo's universe and lives on top of shklim, which looks very similar to the concept of Heaven. Everyone seems happy there until Bender and his Army of the Damned drags Yivo through the Anomaly so they can destroy shkler.

When Yivo finds out how Bender could attack shklim, shklee finds out Fry contacted Bender, which shklee had specifically asked none of them to do (i.e. not contacting other universes). Shklee decides to break off the marriage. But to shkler consolation, shklee did find someone who understood shklim, namely Colleen. And so they leave Universe Gamma together, and the Anomaly closes.

Heaven
Due to Yivo's sheer size, upon shkler is a world where people of Universe Gamma can dwell. However, it appears to be much similar to Heaven of several religions in human culture. According to Yivo, that is because shklee sent an image of it to Universe Gamma's artists long ago—the clouds are vapours that shklee exhumes, and the angels are just mindless jakabirds which keep shklis body clean and free of parasitic larvae.

Biology
*Yivo is what appears to be a living planet with tentacles that can serve as either limbs, groins, or matter transportation tubes.
*Is made of Electromatter, and can only be harmed by other Electromatter.
*Only known waste product is a vapour which smells pleasant to humans.
*Can "mate", but does not have any known reproductive functions therein.
*Is seemingly able to infinitely extend tentacles and golden escalators. Can also spawn a seemingly infinite number of tentacles from other tentacles.
*Can spawn a mouth at the end of each tentacle, and talk with it.
*Is able to revive certain life forms, although it is not known how shklee does this.
*Can see out of each tentacle, despite having no known eyes on them.
*Has one giant eye and one giant mouth on shkler main body.
*Has no known life span, and any being of Universe A/Gamma living on shkler will not age or progress in any way towards death either.
*Appears to bleed a greyish-brown fluid.
Joey Mousepad is the least intelligent of the Robot Mafia's goons. He takes his name from the computer mouse and mousepad that hang around his neck. He is a member of the League of Robots.

Biography
It's unknown when, where, or why Joey Mousepad was built. At some point, he became a member of the Robot Mafia under the leadership of the Donbot, including becoming the Donbot's driver. In 3001, Joey participated in the Zuban cigar heist of the Planet Express ship 2ACV13. He was placed on the Robot Santa's Naughty List when he is seen beating up a shopkeeper who didn't pay his protection money 3ACV03. It was Joey who publicly announced the Robot Mafia's support of the robot strike against the Curvetti Bros. Bending Plant, and informed the Donbot that Flexo (actually Bender in disguise) was spending money he had earned as a strike breaker 3ACV06. Later, he joined the Big Robot Party in the Galápagos Islands 4ACV08.

After surviving the party, he later fought in the Battle for Earth against the Scammer Aliens 5ACV04. He was revealed to be a member of the League of Robots 5ACV06, and later taught Bender a lesson by shooting him repeatedly after Bender had an affair with Fanny 5ACV13. Some time later, Joey was incarcerated on Will Riker's Island alongside Bender and Roberto 6ACV04. Joey was the doorman for the wedding of the Donbot's eldest daughter, and was surprised to learn that Clamps' real name was "Francis". He attempted to tamper with the jury during Donbot's trial, and intimidated Calculon to lie about what happened to him 6ACV14.
The Donbot is the husband of Fanny and the father of at least two daughters, one of which is Bella.

Biography
The Donbot hired Bender Bending Rodríguez to work as a goon to the Robot Mafia and steal a shipment of Zuban cigars (2ACV13), attempted to kill Flexo with an unbendable girder after Bender, disguised as Flexo, continued to flash his filthy scab money (3ACV06), was one of the FART (4ACV06), which shows that he is a parent, attended the Big Robot Party (4ACV08), and was a member of the League of Robots (TBWABB).

Fanny, his wife, cheated on him with Bender after Bender met her in the Gearotica Theatre (ITWGY). When the Robot Mafia became aware of the affair, they shot them and buried them a few times as a warning. However, the Donbot and Fanny had already gotten back together by the legalization of Proposition ∞ (6ACV04). Flexo is a Bending Unit robot of model #22, the same model as and therefore identical to Bender in almost every possible respect, except that he has a stylish metal goatee attached.

Personality
Flexo, being a Bending Unit, is identical to Bender in appearance as well as most mannerisms. Like Bender, his finish is "Foghat Grey" (as opposed to gold, as explained in "The Farnsworth Parabox"). Even his voice is identical to Bender's, and when the two are forced to fight, the fight is perfectly symmetrical. The sole exception to their identical appearance is the fact that Flexo has a black metal goatee affixed to the base of his head. It is not known whether this goatee is Flexo's personal addition, or if he was created with it. However, Bender apparently owns a similar one (which he wore in "Bendless Love") which suggests that it may be an optional feature included with all bending units.

Flexo is similar to Bender in that he often interjects conversations with cruel and cutting remarks, however he is unlike Bender in that he universally follows them up with a hearty laugh, and a compliment to the person at whom the "insult" was directed. For instance, in "The Lesser of Two Evils", he remarks to Fry that sharing the watch for the Jumbonium atom was him "8 hours of solid boredom" only to follow with a laugh and "nah I'm kiddin', you're a wonderful man!" Flexo's comments can be reversed as well as seen in "Bendless Love" when he is slapped by Bender and says, "Thanks, I appreciate that. Nah, I'm joshing with you, that was quite annoying!" While initially it is assumed by Fry, that this is a deceptive personality trait; it later becomes apparent that he is, in fact, genuinely kind.

Biography
Flexo was built by the same arm as Bender and other bending units. The two of them crossed paths when Fry demonstrated an ancient car to his friends and ran Flexo over, he had to be restored by the Professor and Amy in a lengthy operation. Flexo proved to be instrumental in foiling the attempted theft of a valuable atom of Jumbonium, needed for the Miss Universe. He was arrested after the atom's retrieval because of his similarity to Bender, the real culprit 2ACV06.

Flexo later crossed paths with Bender at Curvetti Bros. Bending Plant, where Bender fell in love with Flexo's ex-wife Angleyne 3ACV06.

He is later seen during the Annual e-Waste Recycling Festival in a hazardous waste bin, arguing that bending units are dangerously outdated. Whether he was actually destroyed or not is yet to be known 6ACV03.

Family
*Billy West, identical model (deceased)
*Angleyne, ex-wife and lover as of "Bendless Love".

Additional Info
Trivia
*Flexo's Serial Number is 3370318, a number expressible as the sum of two cubes (1193 + 1193)
*Flexo was going to appear on "Crimes of the Hot" but was taken out to avoid confusion with the fans who haven't seen him before.
*Flexo's head appears briefly in "Bendless Love", in the bin where Bender's head comes from. It's not sure if this is the actual Flexo, or if it is a similar-looking Bending Unit.
*The idea of a nearly-identical-except-with-a-beard version of someone being evil is a reference to the Star Trek episode, "Mirrior, Mirror", where Spock from an alternate, evil universe has a beard.
*He apparently hates dancing, according to Anglelyne.
*He is seen in the Bender's Game DVD featurette "How to draw Futurama", as a bonus step on drawing Bender; at the end, a goatee is added to where Bender's chin would be.
Dr. Ogden Wernstrom is Professor Farnsworth's nemesis and formerly one of his best students at Mars University in the early 2900s.

Personality
Dr. Wernstrom is an old rival of Professor Farnsworth and was determined to get back at him for something as trivial as getting an A minus in an exam. His obsession with avenging himself against Farnsworth caused him to promise that he'd get back at him even if it took a hundred years. Approximately a hundred years later, he made the promise a second time 1ACV08, despite the fact that he most likely wouldn't live to be over two hundred. Wernstrom frequently sneers at Farnsworth whenever the elder scientist makes blunders. He has also been described as being a jackass (1ACV08), not just to Farnsworth, but to pretty much anybody.

Wernstrom is a clever scientist, possibly the equal of Farnsworth. However, Wernstrom seems to be biased against robots, claiming that he had suspected they were responsible for global warming after this was confirmed by Farnsworth 4ACV08.

Wernstrom's rivalry with Farnsworth has softened over the years and they have even worked together from time to time. Koalas

Biography
After one fateful pop quiz which Farnsworth graded an A-minus on account of Wernstrom's sloppy handwriting, Wernstrom swore that he would get his revenge even if it took a hundred years. He briefly succeeded in this at the Academy of Inventors annual symposioum in 3000 when he won the Academy Prize and got to grade Farnsworth's contribution, the Smell-O-Scope concept, an A-minus-minus. However, the Academy Prize was taken away from him again after the events concerning a giant ball of garbage headed straight for New New York and his revenge was thus foiled, yet he swore he would get Farnsworth for this even if it took another hundred years.

He was Mom's husband and possibly fathered Walt and Larry in the 2970s, but they divorced. They later got back together when the Professor discovered that Dark Matter could be used as a fuel. After reuniting, they broke up again sometime before the year 3000.

Dr. Wernstrom is a member of the University Council of Mars University. Among other things, he is manufacturing and constructing Killbots, which brings him into competition with Professor Farnsworth once again: They got into a fist fight at the "Roboticon 3003" over it. He briefly worked for Earth's government during the global warming crisis of 3003 and attempted to kill all robots on Earth with a great electromagnetic pulse (EMP).

Their rivalry appears to have softened over the years, and have even managed to collaborate with one another every once in a while, though they do periodically bicker every now and then. Wernstrom also appears to respect some of Farnsworth's decisions if he himself believes them to be right as well.

Production
As explained in the commentary of "Obsoletely Fabulous", Wernstrom was created as a one-time character, only appearing in "A Big Piece of Garbage", but they find him "too good" and made him reappear. He is partially based on the title character played by Peter Sellers in .
So, I've just added a few more characters to this category here and there, and was wondering if we should list people such as Yivo, who kind of served the opposing role as well as the good-guy role. Among his students was the then teenage Leela, who was one of his most promising Arcturan Kung Fu pupils. However, Fnog believes that the very best fighters must possess the Will of the Warrior, which no female being can have, thus he refused to let Leela attend to the Junior Championships and continuously teased her. Horrible Gelatinous Blob is a good-natured male alien, when he is not upset about something, such as problems at work or a sad movie. Then, he is prone to violence at the slightest provocation. This usually ends with him swallowing the offending party. He and his family live on the rings of an unidentified planet. The Venus de Venus shows a female blob making it possible that Horrible Gelatinous Blob and his family are Venusians living on the rings of another planet. Horrible Gelatinous Blob is sometimes known as H. G. Blob.

Biography
He is known to have worked for an ad agency, as he apeared in a commercial for Planet Express (1ACV02). However, it is unlikely that he met anyone at the company directly, as he doesn't seem to recognize Hermes Conrad or Professor Farnsworth before, during, or after beating them to a pulp, an act caused by a lot of stress down at the plant he was working in, which introduced computers in 3002 (3ACV12). He has also worked as a stockbroker (3ACV21). Later, the bad influence of Bender to his son made him become one of the FART (4ACV06). Additionally, H. G. Blob seems to be on the Earthican $20 Bill (BBS).
In 3010, Horrible Gelatinous Blob fried a hobo during the Heating of the Western Hemisphere (6ACV08), and attended the 100th Delivery Party, being the first guest to have entered the Planet Express headquarters (6ACV12).
*His voice is very similar to the voices of Lrrr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8, and Morbo, co-host on Channel √2 News. All three characters are voiced by Maurice LaMarche, who has stated that they actually sound pretty different.
*In The Beast with a Billion Backs, he describes Yivo as being "horrible". This is ironic, as he is a horrible creature himself and his first name is also "horrible".
Langdon Cobb is an actor who wears a suit with an ascot (complete with a stickpin) and a bread bag over his head 7ACV04.

Biography
Langdon Cobb is, apparently, the "world's greatest actor", but always keeps his bread bag over his head. The reasoning given by Cobb to the public for this is because he wants to be known for his acting and not for his looks. The real reason why he wears the bag, however, is that he is actually a Quantum lichen, an alien species that feeds on the attention of others. Looking upon a Quantum Lichen's face, even a photograph, instantly drains a living being's life force, which is the real reason Cobb hides his face. Unlike the rest of his species, who travel from planet to planet to expose their faces and feed, Cobb discovered that simply the attention he gets from being an actor on earth is enough to sustain him.

When Bender managed to photograph his face, Cobb begged him not to show it to anyone, even offering to pay Bender. Nonetheless, Bender showed the photo to Fry, Amy and Hermes. Professor Farnsworth concluded that the only way to restore them to normal was to take their life forces back from Cobb's ego. However, the ego needed to be sufficiently weakened first.

Cobb and Calculon entered the World Acting Championship, participating for the title of "world's greatest actor". If Calculon could defeat Cobb, it would weaken his ego enough for Farnsworth to extract the life forces. Despite Calculon sacrificing himself by dying on stage to ensure Cobb would lose, Cobb won anyway. Later, Cobb's ego, revealed to be his mushroom dog Pookie, grew huge as a result of attention and praise Cobb recieved and attacked the championship venue. The ego attacked Leela, Zoidberg and Farnsworth; Cobb then showed them his face, draining their life forces. Bender, however, showed Cobb a great photograph of himself, causing his ego to explode. The crew's life forces were then given back.
This article states that Thog is the Amazonian who appears in "Brannigan, Begin Again" and "The Lesser of Two Evils". But if you look closely, they don't look similar at all. All three of them have different shaped faces and slightly different skin tones. Now, there might be some kind of official source (like a script of something) that states that they are the same person, but otherwise I propose we treat these three gigantic ladies as individuals. Cornwood was an alternate reality created by Bender's imagination combined with the effect of the combination of the dark matter crystals. It was a parallel universe before its destruction. Since Cornwood was destroyed by Momon when she reacquired the Die of Power, it is unlikely that it will be revisited later.

Cornwood is strongly based on Tolkien's Middle-Earth. Cornwood itself and its characters contain many allusions to it. Even the map of Cornwood is simply a map of Middle-earth flipped backwards (with Mordor in the west and Gondor in the east, when in Middle-earth this is the other way around).

Allusions
Since the people and places of Cornwood are not only based on Middle-Earth and Dungeons and Dragons, but also other myths and legends, it is much easier for this article to refer to each character, race/people or place for which there is a reference.

Characters
The main cast of Futurama all appear in the alternate reality, but as a different characters based loosely on Tolkein's characters, basic Dungeons and Dragons concepts, combinations thereof or something completely different entirely, such as other myths or legends.

"Saturday Morning Fun Pit" is the one hundred and fortieth episode of Futurama, the twenty-sixth and last of the seventh production season and the thirteenth and last of the tenth broadcast season.

The episode will most likely be seperated into 3 segments, in the style of "The Futurama Holiday Spectacular", "Reincarnation" and "Naturama". The episode will parody 1980s Saturday morning cartoon shows, including Scooby-Doo, {{w|G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1985 TV series)|G.I. "I Dated a Robot", originally titled "J-Lo Dolly", is the forty-seventh episode of Futurama, the fifteenth of the third production season and the fifteenth and the last of the third broadcast season. It aired 13 May, 2001 on FOX. It guest stars Lucy Liu as herself in a jar as well the Liubots. Fry downloads Liu's personality illegally onto a "blank robot", and they start dating. The discontent of the other characters leads to an investigation, which reveals the sinister nature of the corporation providing the celebrity personalities.

The Story
Act I: "I want to see the edge of the universe!"
The crew is watching The Scary Door, Fry enters to try to convince them that the future is far better than his time. They decide to do (almost) everything Fry ever dreamed of. After travelling to the end of the universe, blowing up a planet and riding a dinosaur, Fry decides the last thing he wishes to do is to be romantically linked with a celebrity.

Act II: "On to the internet you go!"
Fry and Leela go online and locate nappster.com, where Fry chooses to download Lucy Liu. The download is successful and Fry falls for the Liubot.

Act III: "Humans dating robots is sick!"
The crew considers the relationship sick. They try to make him end the relationship, and show him a propaganda film which shows that humans dating robots will lead to disaster. The film has no effect on Fry, who is busy making out with the Liubot. Leela, Bender and Zoidberg head off to shut down nappster.com, where it is revealed that the company (secretly known as kidnappster.com) is holding various heads in jars hostage in order to scan them to create the robot duplicates, Liu having been there 800 years. The three rescue Lucy Liu's Head and escape. Kidnappster sends Liubots to kill them.

Act IV: "Bender don't bend that way!"
The real Lucy Liu is apparently attracted to Bender. A swarm of Liubots begin attacking. They hide in a movie theatre, where they find Fry and his Liubot on a date. The swarm enters and continues its rampage. Fry leads Bender, Leela, Zoidberg, Lucy and his Liubot to the projection room. The Lius prepare to enter through the window, but are stopped by a huge quantity of popcorn, until the swarm begins shooting the popcorn back.

Act V: "Massive corn clog in port seven!"
Fry's Liubot sacrifices herself to destroy the others and save Fry. Bender and Lucy admit their feelings for one another, much to Fry's disappointment.
*Lucy Liu returns in "Love and Rocket".
*While there are currently only the two alternate universes, many parallel ones come into existence in "The Farnsworth Parabox".
*Bender refers to robosexuals in "Space Pilot 3000", it is possible that this is a reference to a romantic relationships between a human and a robot as seen in this episode.
*Bender later develops a robosexual relationship with Amy Wong and is a key player in the passing of Proposition ∞.

Allusions
*Lucy Liu parodies her successful Charlie's Angels movies, reprising her role in the 2007 classic Charlie's Angels III: The Legend of Charlie's Gold (which features a vampire and an explosion)
**The title is based on City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold
*A large focus on the copyright infringement issues causing problems for Napster
*"We would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling adults!" - similar line (with kids instead of adults) is found in most episodes of Scooby Doo.
*The Scary Door segment includes several references to The Twilight Zone episodes:
**"Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" - Smith's "there's a gremlin destroying the plane, you gotta believe me!"
**"A Nice Place To Visit" - A dead man thinking he's in heaven because he gets everything he wanted (a casino where he's actually winning) but finding out that's boring and maybe it's hell, also a Sebastian Cabot-like man
**"The Man in the Bottle" - One of the main character's wishes was to be a world leader that can't be replaced, so the genie makes him Adolf Hitler
*Fry and the Liubot visit Dinkin' Donuts, which refers to the doughnut chain Dunkin' Donuts and former New York mayor David Dinkins (whose picture is on the store marquee).
*At one point, Bender acts in the manner of Archie Bunker from All in the Family and even sits in Archie's trademark living room chair.
*When Leela, Bender, and Zoidberg prepare to leave Napster with Lucy Liu's head, George Michael's head responds, "Please pick me up before you go-go". A reference to the Wham song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go".

*The jar holding Lucy Liu's head seems to change sizes between scenes for the last act. It goes from being roughly the size of Bender's compartment when he tosses Pavarotti to make room for her, to being slightly smaller than the compartment when Lucy gives Fry the speech about illegal downloading, to being larger when Bender's holding her next to him after Fry erases the last Liubot.
*After the Liubots tear through the cinema screen, the exact same scene that had just happened is shown, albeit blurred onscreen. However, this may just be to make fun of the repetitive nature of the film.
:It is from 2001. Look at the uniforms and compare it to Amy.
:It should. Unfortunately, this article have been given very little attention, which sort of puzzles me, as I assumed many people liked this character. But indeed, it should have sections, it should have a far better structure entirely. Hence the templates at the top. --Svip 21:51, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Trivia Overload
I've thought this for a long long time, but I keep forgetting to mention it: Is it just me or is the trivia section bloated and full of crap that barely qualifies as trivia? I mean, it's indeed trivial, but I'm not sure it's the same thing. --Buddy 13:34, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
:Yep, once the trivia section is so big that a 1024*768 screen needs to be scrolled it's too big. - Quolnok 00:06, 28 March 2007 (PDT)
Blernsball
In "Fear Of A Bot Planet", Leela appears to be a passionate New New York Yankees fan. I'm not sure she has any real attachment to the Mets aside from having been briefly employed by them. Unless she's one of those NNY poseurs who roots for both teams. Cy3 15:20, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
:Her reference to the Mets sucking is pretty much a baseball joke from our time. I don't care anything about baseball, personally, but I know this joke and not from Futurama. But in no way is it implied on the show that she roots for the Mets, she was just employed by them. So she can still be a Yankees fan while having being employed by the Mets. But I think this is a bit of a small thing to let it slide. --SvipTalk 16:31, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Expansion - Post-Green Yonder
In light of what happened in ITWGY (as in, the final minute), I thought it'd a good idea to add the fact (to both the initial and Bio sections) that things between Leela and Fry have changed and are likely to change further, seeing as she's admitted she loves him - notwithstanding the potential threat of the Dreaded Reset Button. Obviously, time will tell as to what the relationship is, if there is a relationship, whether they move in together, etc., but in the meantime, I figured it'd be nice to add a litle expansion material. Thank you, and I hoped that I passed the audition. :) -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by THM{{#if:| before {}|}}.
:Personally, I feel that this article needs a good comb-over, it seriously needs a good update. I am talking rewrite update. The opening part is far too long, there should be a character description, a character history, a character creation (you know, behind the scenes kind-a-thing), more trivia stuff, as well as details such as families and other relevant lists.
:The ITWGY ... events should also be covered in the Fry-Leela relationship, which should deal with this very relationship in far more detail than Fry's and Leela's articles.
:And lastly, welcome onboard (just remember to sign your posts). --SvipTalk 23:07, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
::Message received and understood! :) I definitely agree that the fallout from ITWGY should appear in the Leela/Fry section, though as for a total rewrite of the Leela article...uh, can I get back you on that? ;)--THM 23:42, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
adding ITWGY
you should add her short lived career as an eco-femnista

Elbow Talon an Andromeda reference?
Her elbow talons, are they like the ones on the Neechians(sp?) from Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda?

Leela's Age
First off, my apologies for my mistake with Leela's birthdate. I read it as the 24th. Four and nine look the same, right?

Well, I actually think that Leela just turned 35 in "The Late Philip J. Fry", not 34. According to her, she was 25 during the events of "Brannigan, Begin Again", and that episode most likely occurred after July, as they do spend what seems to be a Labor-Day weekend on the beach in "When Aliens Attack". Twenty-five plus ten years makes her 35. Can I get a unanimous agreement? --Frida Waterfall 06:33, 31 July 2010 (CEST)

I agree. She should 34,or at the very latest 35.Plus, since when do cartoon characters age? If they did, Bart from the simpsons would've been an adult! Yes,please change it, What about Fry?

arm device
Something should be mentioned about the arm device she wears all the time and the fact that she never takes it off, even when in bed, as evidenced by the latest episode.
Actually the auto pilot appears in Bendless Love. Also as the voice is the same as the ship's (before the personality change) they may not be seprate entities. Also in Love and Rocket Ship handled auto pilot duties.

Character?
The Planet Express Ship is a Character? And, is it a Primary Character? It should be... OK, I don't know what it could be... but the infobox could be an item infobox, just like Nimbus.--200.45.151.117 22:18, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
:The Planet Express Ship has certain features that develops it from beyond a regular item like the Nimbus into an actual character. We used to have a discussion about this, whether to keep it an item or make it a character, we decided that the ship itself has certain characteristics that made it into a character.
:Of course, not all episodes represent the ship as a character, but I can mention the some highlighting it as a personality:
:*"How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back" - The ship's auto-pilot is referred to as having its own personality, well, alcoholic. But what's next, are you saying Bender isn't a character?
:*"Love and Rocket" - Perhaps the most obvious choice, wherein the ship actually gains a personality and a relationship with Bender.
:In fact, the latter episode is what caused us to make it a character. Despite it being 'ended' near the episode's end, we felt that it actually turned it into a character, and we felt we should avoid character an extra page for the character the ship is in that episode. And since we agreed, that if ship was going to be a character, it ought to be a primary character, as it is so important to the show.
:I hope the sums up our reasoning. --Svip 22:25, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Oh, you're right. It's OK then.-- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 200.45.151.117{{#if:| before {}|}}.
:I get it being a character, but why is it a primary character? It is important to the show as an item, but as a character, it only makes two appearances, only one of which is a major story. Because of this, I think it should be a secondary character, rather than a primary character. Kif (talk) 03:08, 11 August 2012 (CEST)
::I agree with this. I vote we change it to secondary. UnrealLegend (talk) 14:23, 11 August 2012 (CEST)
