Jason Grode was one of the producers of season 1 of Futurama. Both he and Claudia Katz were the actual producers for the season, managing the budget for the show and keeping it on it's development schedule. Grode was credited as "Produced by" instead of the writer-reserved "Producer" credit. Outside of Futurama, he helped develop the Matt Groening special Olive, the Other Reindeer, was editor for Simpsons Comics, produced commercials featuring characters from The Simpsons, and was manager and representative for Science4Girls.
