Inara Serra was a character played by Morena Baccarin on the short-lived cult television series Firefly and the movie Serenity. She was a companion, or socially respectable prostitute/geisha, who traveled the known Universe aboard the ship Serenity with it's crew. In Futurama, the character had a cameo as one of the head jars in the Head Museum (6ACV23).
