Angry Norwegian is brand of anchovies supposedly from the 20th or 21st century. When Fry became rich, he purchased at an antique auction an unopened can of Angry Norwegian anchovies circa 1997, first fighting Mom who also wanted them. Fry won with a bid of $50 million. Mom wanted them so Fry couldn't use them to make cheap effective robot oil with the anchovies' DNA, but he just wanted to eat them.(1ACV06)
In 3010, Fry walks by an unopened can of Angry Norwegian Anchovies outside the Land Titanic in the NNY Sewers, but he fails to notice them.(6ACV12)
As a credit to the Angry Norwegian corporation's preserving techniques, the anchovies apparently fared relatively well over the centuries as they do not give Fry food poisoning and send Zoidberg into an anchovy induced blood-lust as if they were still fresh from the sea.
