Episode

Bender and Fry's apartment or apartment number 00100100 is located in the Robot Arms Apartments in New New York.

It is unknown how long Bender has lived there, but Fry moved in with him in February of 3000, after having lived at Planet Express for approximately one month, at the expense of his co-workers. Fry tries to seek alternatives to Bender's apartment for accommodation, since its volume is only 2 cubic metres. Fry tours many apartments, including several suspicious ones, until he finds the apartment of the late Dr. Mbutu.

Unfortunately for Bender, he cannot live in the new apartment, as his antenna interferes with the satellite television. After a falling out with Fry, Fry finally settles on moving back into Bender's tiny apartment. Bender then reveals the apartment's closet, which is far larger than the apartment itself, in which Fry decides to stay.

The closet consists of two rooms, as well as a kitchen and a bathroom - both of which only seem to appear when required. Unlike the Planet Express ship or the Planet Express headquarters, the closet's layout is far more consistent over the course of the series.

The apartment was to some degree destroyed by Zoidberg in "The Prisoner of Benda".

Trivia

  • The binary numeral 00100100 (36) translates to the ASCII symbol $, which could be a reference to Bender's greed.
