Applied Cryogenics has been a provider of reliable long-term storage of living people for over 1,000 years. A leader in the field, due in part to their miraculous survival of the repeated devestation of Earth by invading aliens, and even the second coming of Jesus.
Applied Crypgenics is the company that froze Fry, as well as his ex-girlfriend Michelle, actor Pauley Shore, and That Guy, among others.
Leela worked at Applied Cryogenics when Fry was defrosted, along with co-worker Terry and their boss Ipgee. There has never been an employee at Applied Cryogenics named "I. C. Wiener", and there never will be.
