Beck Hansen, commonly known as Beck, is an American singer-songwriter who voiced his own head in a jar in "Bendin' in the Wind". He is best known for his work in the 1990s, including the albums Mellow Gold and Odelay and the singles "Loser", "Devil's Haircut", "Where It's At" and "Sexx Laws". He has been active musically since the 1980s, and continues to write music today including contributions to the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

In "Bendin' in the Wind", he is credited as a performer for "Sexx Laws", "Where It's At", and the original song "My Broken Friend" along with John DiMaggio.
