General Info

Bender's Big Score is the first of the four Direct-to-DVD films, to be released November 27, 2007Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many. Years have passed since The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, both in the show and in reality, the opening will reflect this. Each of the films will be chopped up into four episodes each, possibly with additional material, for the Comedy Central season due to air in 2008.

As of 8 July, 2007 the voice acting for all the films (which includes the fifth season) is finished, according to Lauren Tom.[1]

the film is set for a november 27 2007 release date.

A preview of the film was shown at Comic-Con 2007.[2]

The title is a reference to the 1972 film Shaft's Big Score.

Story

When the evil naked aliens launch a cyber-attack on Planet Express, they make a shocking discovery: the secret of time travel, mysteriously tattooed on Fry's buttocks. Using their devious nudist software to control Bender, they repeatedly send the beer-fueled robot back in time to loot Earth of its greatest treasures. Bender's rampage through history has shocking repercussions when he encounters Al Gore (guest-starring as himself) during the 2000 Presidential recount. Meanwhile, Leela finds true love, a beloved crew member suffers an embarrassing decapitation, and Fry learns deep secrets about his destiny and his buttocks.
