The DOOP Hovercopters are a type of Hovercopters which can enter space as well as an Atmosphere. There are two types of the DOOP Hovercopter. The first type look like U.S. Army Chinook hovercopters and seem to serve a role as gunships, transports, and landing craft. The second look have a Bell 47 appearance which have been used in the Korean War. They and seem to be used in much the same role as the first, although they are also used as medical transports.

Trivia
- In "War Is the H-Word", hovercopters fly over an army camp which looks identical to the M*A*S*H camp. The second hovercopter was introduced with this scene and therefore looks like the Bell 47 which was used in the Korean War as well as in M*A*S*H.
