'''Devo''' has been a new-wave band since the [[20th century]]. They still exist in the [[31st century]] where, having been [[Sewer Mutants|mutated]], they fight for their rights. The band is led by [[Mark Mothersbaugh (character)|Mark Mothersbaugh]]. 

The [[Devolution Revolution]], named after them, granted them their freedom. Along with the rest of the Sewer Mutants, they are now considered regular citizens of [[Earth]] and are allowed to walk on the surface of [[New New York]].
