The Galápagos Islands are volcanic islands, distributed around the equator in the Pacific Ocean. In the 31st Century, President Nixon, in an attempt to solve the robot-caused global warming crisis, invited all the robots on earth to a beach party on the Galápagos Islands. He then planned on deactivating every last one from space using an electromagnetic pulse. His plan was foiled when all of the robots vented their exhaust upward at once, simultaneously moving the earth farther from the sun, dodging the pulse, and solving the global warming crisis. Due to this alteration of the Earth's orbit, the year was lengthened by one week, dubbed Robot Party Week.
