However, at the final scene against the Dark Ones and the [[Encyclopods]], Hutch was the last victim of [[The Last Dark One|the last Dark One]], the same creature which killed his sister. With his dying strength, though, Hutch removed Frida's jewelry from Fry's brain, taking his mind-reading powers with it. The Last Encyclopod then took Hutch's DNA to perserve the DNA of homo sapiens.
