==Userboxes==
{{User:Buddy13/sig}} I've created a couple user boxes. Wikipedia uses them a little, but I figured that since Futurama is being kept alive by its community, we might focus a little more ''on'' that community. So user pages might get a little more extensive. So far, I just created the [[Template:Userbox:Admin|Admin]] and another one. See my user page for both of them. I'm not linking it because it has levels, so basically, you pick a level based on your proficiency in the given area (in this case, your ability to recall episode titles from memory). The lowest is <nowiki>{{Userbox:T-1}}</nowiki> and they go up to five. Feel free to create more boxes. I expect there to be a ton of them as more people want to show off more and more about themselves, what they know, or their Futurama expertise. Suggestions or ideas welcome.

Good morning, people.

Custom Special Pages...?

Haven't looked into this much, but I know it's possible to make custom special pages in php. I have an idea that may already exist somewhere (I can't be the first to think of it), it'd be handy to have a special page listing all episodes in a given namespace (or even category?) that DON'T link to any pictures(files). If everyone thinks it's a good idea I'll look into it.

Buddy13 FW16.png I've thought of a couple other special pages that might be interesting to have... so yeah, go right ahead.

User:Gopher/sig Ever done any php before? I've been meaning to learn, this seems like as good a time as any, but I'm currious. Right now I'm checking out the database layout to work out the SQL querry required, and I'll have to get the wiki source to study some of the existing special pages; my first experiment will logically be making a slightly-modified version of an existing page (with a new name of course) You'll be able to install it, correct? It's apparently just putting two files in the right place and adding one line to an existing file to include them.

Active Users

Buddy13 FW16.pngGee, I wonder who's been wasting the most time here...

File:IP's.png

Could those top two be Buddy13 and Gopher?
(actually, yes, they are)

Do I have a point? Not really.
Note: My bytes are probably higher just cuz I've been uploading all those screenshots.

User:Gopher/sig heh. Kindof funny. I'm just gratified to see another user. Welcome to the Infosphere, Whaler, hope we keep seeing you!

Buddy13 FW16.png Silence! I agree! The more users we get, the better this place will get. Especially now that we've worked out the general formatting issues and standards. It should be much easier for people to just jump right in and contribute what they can.

Template:Check

User:Gopher/sig Ok, what do you guys think of this? To see it in use, check out Nibbler's page. I can't remember exactly what he said in "The Why of Fry" about his age, but I think he gives a ballpark figure? So I put the {{Check}}> template at the end of the line. This adds it to the Check category, so all tags can be viewed there. It also includes a formatted link to edit the page. Seem worthwhile?
