A topic concerning the people of Earth in both the 21st and 31st centuries is global warming. In between these two periods, solutions to the problem had been implemented. However; although a nuclear winter and repeatedly dropping dropping ice in the ocean helped, these proved to be more of a quick fix that only lasted a generation or so. Former politician, Al Gore has long been battling to raise awareness of the problem, holding conferences for the past thousand years, the most recent of which uncovered the current major cause as robots decending from Farnsworth's designs.
