The Late Philip J. Fry aired in July 2010 and is often considered by both staff and fans to be one of the best if not the best episode of both the series and the sixth season. In the episode, Fry, Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth and Bender accidentally travels into a dystopic year 10 000, without the possibility to travel backwards, only forward in time. Upon realising this, they decide to keep traveling forward, hoping to reach a time when humanity has constructed a backwards time machine. (more...)
