Featured Article Archives
Nominate new articles
Existing archives (newest first):

Nominate articles that you think are worthy of being featured on the main page. Please create them below under a level 3 (===Level 3===) heading.

How do you vote? Edit this page, and put your name under either "Accept" or "Decline" for each article nominated — You can do that with a sig template, three tildes (~~~), or simply [[User:Buddy13|Buddy13]].

You must nominate an article before creating the feature. Seriously.

Guidelines for Featured Articles

Featured articles should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least one image
  • Must be at least 500 words
    • This rule may be ignored if the article is on something minor and everything known is described.
  • The article should not yet be on the Featured Articles page
  • The article should not still be on the "What's new?" section of the Main Page. Nominations of these pages will be accepted but they won't actually be featured until they leave this listing.
  • Probably other stuff, too

Nominations

The nominations section is for articles that you feel are ready to be featured. If it still needs work, add it to Potential Candidates.

Our feature for fortnight 21, and a few days of 20, is Lovenasium. Yep, it's fortnightly features following this elongated transitional feature. We'll need more nominations to pull off featuring an article every two weeks, and of course voting will change when and if the nominations will appear on the main page, so get to it! - Quolnok 06:17, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Dave Spiegel and Fluffers

Nominated on 23 August 2008

This one, well it is a perfect example of our including just about everything within our scope. It is the kind of article that people don't expect to find, but like seeing. I'm also thinking we could switch to fortnightly at some point (which could allow a decreased article length, though not quality; there's nothing to add for this pair). - Quolnok 07:02, 27 July 2008 (CEST)

Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection

Nominated on 30 August 2008

This a very good example of a featured article. This is a article which has everything on it, including the back cover summary, lots of pictures and the second commentary. i made this way better. 3492 bytes better infact! you know you want it... --My leg feels funny! 22:00, 29 August 2008 (BST)

Potential Candidates

The potential candidates section is for articles that you feel should be featured but need a bit more polishing/completeness. If it is probably ready add it to Nominations. Feel free also to move articles in this section to the nominations when you think they're good to go.

All of the PE staff should be good enough, this is the closest of the three. There's just so much more that could be said. - Quolnok 07:02, 27 July 2008 (CEST)
