Infosphere:Featured article nominations

From The Infosphere, the Futurama Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Nominate articles that you think are worthy of being featured on the main page. Please create them below under a level 3 (===Level 3===) heading.

How do you vote? Edit this page, and put your name under either "Accept" or "Decline" for each article nominated — You can do that with a sig template, three tildes (~~~), or simply [[User:Buddy13|Buddy13]].

You must nominate an article before creating the feature. Seriously.

Guidelines for Featured Articles

Featured articles should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least one image
  • Must be at least 500 words
  • The article should not yet be on the Featured Articles page
  • Probably other stuff, too

Nominations

The nominations section is for articles that you feel are ready to be featured. If it still needs work, add it to Potential Candidates.

The Brain Slugs article has made the cut for October's feature. What do you think should be up next? If you add a new nomination it may be featured as early as November. We're low on clear favourites so nominate and vote. - Quolnok 19:33, 25 September 2007 (PDT) i nominate the monster maniac fun coleotion dvd article

I Dated a Robot

A good action episode at the ending! This article was featured as a future one: Infosphere:Featured article for March, 2007 --Bender Bending Rodríguez 17:46, 24 November 2006 (PST)

Note - feature created prior to nomination - Quolnok 19:23, 30 November 2006 (PST)
A little disturbing that it was created without being nominated. I'm not voting, because I'm neutral on this one. It doesn't stand out to me as far as episode articles go. But yeah, they must be nominated before being created. Buddy 10:16, 27 December 2006 (PST)
I've changed my mind and removed my vote, the article really isn't the best - Quolnok 17:36, 23 February 2007 (PST)

The Sting

I think we should nominate The Sting. It is a good episode and was nominated for awards many times. --Bender Bending Rodríguez 18:49, 25 November 2006 (PST)

Note - feature created prior to nomination - Quolnok 19:23, 30 November 2006 (PST)

I'd really like to see at least two pics in an episode article, given their length, before voting it for featured article. At one point I was advocating at least three, one for each major act, but if we start adding infoboxes then that wouldn't necessarily make sense, but I'd still like to see a second, I think. Unless buddy objects to the bandwidth usage, I think we should try to be fairly media-rich. Gopher 20:01, 19 April 2007 (PDT)

I Dated a Robot (commentary)

I beleive that a commentary article should get a feature, this one looks good to me. It's also the largest excluding Roswell that Ends Well (commentary), which has two commentaries. - Quolnok 17:36, 23 February 2007 (PST)

Actually now Amazon Women in the Mood (commentary) is the largest exculding Roswell that Ends Well (commentary) so I'm voting for that - Humorbot 0.4 09:53, 4 March 2007 (PST)
Despite AWitM's being larger, I'd still say te article for IDaR's commentary is better, longer and/or more descriptive dot points for one. - Quolnok 18:38, 18 May 2007 (PDT)

Potential Candidates

The potential candidates section is for articles that you feel should be featured but need a bit more polishing/completeness. If it is probably ready add it to Nominations.

Sewer Mutants

If character info and quotes are filled in for all the characters, and a few other minor and one-timers are added (like the one Leela raced with in Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles), it could make a good article. It's already very picture-rich, and with a little more humor value it could be a very good page.

Yes, that is a good article. User:Bender Bending Rodríguez/sig

Religion

Still needs a little bit of fleshing out. - Quolnok 02:54, 16 July 2006 (PDT)

Zapp Brannigan

Some improvements needed.

The Infosphere

The article's too short. The centered image on the top is a little non-standard.
