Nominate new articles
Existing archives (newest first):

Nominate articles that you think are worthy of being featured on the main page. Please create them below under a level 3 (===Level 3===) heading.

How do you vote? Edit this page, and put your name under either "Accept" or "Decline" for each article nominated — You can do that with a sig template, three tildes (~~~), or simply [[User:Buddy13|Buddy13]].

You must nominate an article before creating the feature. Seriously.

Guidelines for Featured Articles

Featured articles should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least one image
  • Must be at least 500 words
    • This rule may be ignored if the article is on something minor and everything known is described.
  • The article should not yet be on the Featured Articles page
  • The article should not still be on the "What's new?" section of the Main Page. Nominations of these pages will be accepted but they won't actually be featured until they leave this listing.
  • Probably other stuff, too

Nominations

The nominations section is for articles that you feel are ready to be featured. If it still needs work, add it to Potential Candidates.

For fortnight 15, our featured article will be Applied Cryogenics. Fortnight 16 runs from the 27th of July to the 9th of August. Please nominate some new articles for a possible feature, and vote on existing nominations to make them appear on the main page sooner, or never appear there. - Quolnok 09:28, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

I understand Star Trek, but this page is not Futurama enough. - Chris of the Futurama2 14:33, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

how isn't this any more Futurama than Star Trek is? It's references to the show Futurama isn't it? And it has the most references i've seen.--I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 07:50, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, we certainly can't have all the references in a few sentances. And there's no perfect picture to use. — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ] 03:43, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Potential Candidates

The potential candidates section is for articles that you feel should be featured but need a bit more polishing/completeness. If it is probably ready add it to Nominations. Feel free also to move articles in this section to the nominations when you think they're good to go.
