Giving up his dream of becoming a comedian he moved to Earth and became the Staff Doctor at Planet Express, where he has been employed for the past ten years. Godfellas.jpg

Godfellas showed us Bender in a way he'd always wanted to be seen, as a god. After a run in with Space Pirates, Bender is accidentally shot from a torpedo tube into space at a speed beyond the ship's maximum. During his time in space, a society of tiny people forms of Bender's torso. Later, he meets a god-like entity. Meanwhile a distraught Fry hopes to find a way to get Bender back.

The Devils Hands are Idle Playthings.jpg

The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, the last episode of Futurama's run on Fox, was written as both a season and a series finale, as there was a 50/50 chance the show would get renewed. The episode continues the story arc relating to Fry and Leela's developing relationship. Fry has been trying unsuccessfully to learn the Holophonor, which he'd previously seduced her with while infected with worms. He makes a deal with the Robot Devil so that he can play well, but the Devil doesn't like the outcome and launches a ridiculously circuitous plan to undo it.

Free Waterfall, Jr..jpg

The Waterfalls are a family of environmentalists who occasionally appear in episodes and comics of Futurama. When a member of the family is a major character in a story, they tend to die trying to protect the very thing that kills them. One known member of the family yet to be focused on (and killed off) is Frida. With a new season in the works, it is possible the family will return too.

Sal.jpg

Sal is one of Futurama's many secondary characters. Sal is almost always seen filling one of his many blue-collar jobs throughout the universe, whether he holds these similtaneously, frequently changes jobs or has an army of clones is unknown. He is also very lazy which prevents him from being violent. In his spare time, Sal enjoys camping and bus rides with beautiful women. Sal often adds an 's' to words that don't need it and occasionally takes off 's' from words that do need it.

Nibbler.jpg

Nibbler is a small alien with a big appetite that was found on the now imploded planet known as Vergon 6. Nibbler is believed to be a dumb animal by the crew of Planet Express, but thanks to his cuteness and the fact that he poops starship fuel, he makes a perfect pet. His lack of intelligence is a cover story; Nibbler is a member of a highly advanced species, referred to as "Nibblonians" for our convenience. He had visited Earth at least once in his millennia of life before taking on the name Nibbler.

Scruffy 2.jpg

Scruffy, the janitor, is the least well known of the Planet Express staff. He keeps to himself, spending a lot of time in the basement reading pornography. Scruffy is a major shareholder at Planet Express, largely due to the fact that he believes in the company. Scruffy's past is shrouded in mystery, but he is known to have been to prison. His catchphrase is "I'm Scruffy ... the janitor."

Brain Slugs.jpg

Brain Slugs are little parasitic slugs that attach themselves to the heads of intelligent beings (such as humans) and control them. They are about as big as a fist, green, translucent and have two feelers and one enormous eye. A person posessed by a brain slug will be likely to speak in a monotone voice and do everything possible to further the spreading of brain slugs throughout the universe. Hermes has been under the control of a brain slug on multiple occasions. It is unclear how he escaped as the crew had no intention of rescuing him.

The Luck of the Fryrish.jpg

The Luck of the Fryrish is the fourth episode of the third production season. The episode, which focuses on Fry and his relationship with his older brother Yancy, is seen as one of the more emotive episodes of the series. While Fry is searching Old New York for a good luck charm, he learns how his brother's life in the 21st Century played out.
