Lord Nibbler is a member of a proud and ancient race, the Nibblonians. He is over a thousand years old, and was responsible for pushing Fry into the cryogenic tube and sending him to the year 3000. Nibbler was stationed on Vergon 6 until Leela discovered him there and instantly fell for his cuteness. He is the Nibblonian Ambassador on Earth and has recently became a member of the Planet Express crew. While at the headquarters, he always wears a red cape, small yellow shoes and baby diapers. Trivia
- His true name is never revealed, for this one would take too long to pronounce properly, or so he claims.
- If you look closely, you can see Nibbler's shadow under Fry's chair when Fry falls into the tube. (1ACV01)
- In 2ACV16, when Fry misses the freezer by an inch in the alternate future the What-If Machine shows, Nibbler's shadow is gone, though this may be why Fry doesn't go to the future.
- However, in 4ACV10, when Fry tries to cross Nibbler and eventually decides to let himself be sent to the future after all, there are two shadows under the desk - those of Nibbler and Fry (seen earlier in 4ACV07).
- Nibbler's spaceship, parked inside a container in the Planet Express building's neighbourhood, is just big enough to accept him and an adult human in extremely cramped conditions - if Nibbler scootches up his seat, that is.
- Nibbler's right fang broke in "I Second that Emotion" when he chewed at Bender's butt, it was replaced by a tooth of the veterinarian that he lost while trying to persuade a jaguar to let go of one of his teeth.
- Supposedly the rings on his tooth indicated his age. This, at least in human time, is disproved, as he is over 1,000 years old, and there were only 5 rings.
- The Dark Matter he excretes was used to fuel the Planet Express Ship.
- He told Fry he would help him win Leela's heart, but apparently has done nothing to do so. However, this may very well be unnecessary now.
- He comes in the Toynami action figure line as an one of the Professor's accessories.
