Mrs. Fry (née Gleisner) is the mother of Philip J. Fry who lived in a completely trashed house somewhere in Flatbush, Brooklyn. She loves sports more than her children, such as when she was giving birth to Philip, she cared more about a baseball game and was too busy playing golf when Yancy Fry Jr. was trying to steal his clover. She was also too excited about a football game to wonder where Philip had disappeared to. Mrs. Fry and Yancy Fry Sr. didn't care about their son and thought sending him to school was a waste of tax money and didn’t bother much looking for him when he was frozen in December of 1999.

Quotes

Guenter: [Crying:.] I try so hard to fit in, but seeing my parents act like that made me realise I'm just a primitive beast. [He sobs.]
Fry: Hey, hey, cheer up. Not everyone turns out like their parents. I mean, look at me. My folks were honest, hard-working people.

Fry: Hey, tell me something: You've got all this money, how come you always dress like you're doing your laundry?
Amy: I guess 'cause my parents keep telling me to be more ladylike. [She scoffs.] As though!
Fry: I've been there. My folks were always on me to groom myself and wear underpants. What am I, the Pope?

Yancy Fry Sr.: So what should we name him?
Mrs. Fry: You pick, I picked dinner last night.
Yancy Fry Sr.: Well, I was thinking of Philip after those screwdrivers.
Mrs. Fry: That's a fantastic idea. More morphine, please.

Mrs. Fry: I'll never forget the day Philip disappeared. Wisconsin won the Rose Bowl 17-9.

Mrs. Fry: [To Yancy Fry Jr..] Your brother may be missing, but his crap sure isn't.

Professor Farnsworth: Fry, I admire what you did today, and I'm deeply sorry for insulting your intellect. Your tiny, tiny intellect. Oops, there I go again, you dope. I mean, dummy.
Fry: It's okay. I may not be clever, but I have a good heart. That's what my mom used to say.
Professor Farnsworth: She was a wise woman.
Fry: Also, that I'm not much to look at.
Professor Farnsworth: A wise woman, indeed.
