Nutley is a township in New Jersey, relatively close to Manhattan and New New York, though not viewable from the other side of the Hudson River.

There is bus line that goes directly between New New York and Nutley, and Sal used to be a bus driver on it.

Citizens of Nutley include Petunia among others. When Bender created his dating service, he found his matches by rounding people up at the bus stop, who were originally going to Nutley, unfortunately, they all had to leave for Nutley.
