The Planet Express ship was designed and built by Prof. Farnsworth. The ship seems capable of traveling faster than light, but in fact it does not move at all. Instead, it's engines move the universe around it. This is made possible in part by it's incredible dark matter reactor, which gets 200% fuel efficiency.
The ship is surprisingly comfortable inside. In addition to a large, open bridge, there are crew quarters, a lounge, a sauna, a full kitchen, and even a laundry room. The largest room, of course, is the cargo bay. The ship carries two Hover-Dollies to help move heavy cargo around.
