Discussion

Some of you may already be familiar with my 'high class' Futurama episode review site, which should hopefully bring more interesting reviews. Unfortunately, it has mostly brought few reviews.

Apparently, people aren't that interested in reviewing stuff. So I created a much simpler alternative; a Futurama episode ratings site, where users can rate (0 to 10) and/or rank (place them in order) each episode.

It works simple: You register at the site, go to 'Your list' at the top and you will see your unranked episodes. To rank or rate an episode, simply click on the question mark (?) on either side of the episodes. The one on the left is ranking, while the one on the right is rating. Rating is so far the only one restricted to 0 - 10, although 1 decimal is allowed.

Your rankings and ratings are most welcome, as more data will produce more interesting results. But while you wait for that, you can enjoy one visualisation of the data here. --Sviptalk 19:42, 8 September 2012 (CEST)

Registering now! --Buddy (talk) 04:39, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
Hmm, I'm not sure I understand. Rating is 0-10, that's easy enough. But what is ranking? Do I really have to put them into the order that I think they go? That seems tedious. Shouldn't the ratings determine that? --Buddy (talk) 04:52, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
Some people don't think so, so I left that out. But it is my intend to allow people to rank episodes according to their ratings. But it should be possible to alter it manually. But you don't need to set both types either way. Anyway, that auto-sort feature is coming later. --Sviptalk 11:31, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
The graph, for instance is based on ratings, not rankings. --Sviptalk 11:31, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
Essentially what I am saying is this: Do the ratings now, then there will be a link/button later to do the rankings for you. --Sviptalk 11:33, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
Yay! --Buddy (talk) 11:34, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
Yet, you've only rated one episode! --Sviptalk 23:58, 17 September 2012 (CEST)
I know! It's hard, I love them all. --Buddy (talk) 00:04, 18 September 2012 (CEST)
