Discussion

I want to introduce a "places" section to episode, comic, and film articles. The "places" section is analogous to the "characters" section. The two could therefore go under an "appearances" section.

I also propose creating templaces templates for the notes "mentioned in speech only" (Miso), "mentioned in text only" (Mito), and "mentioned in speech and text only" (Misato).

Here's a "places" section for the 6ACV23 article.

Places

(In alphabetic order)
  • Debut: Ben Franklin's print shop
  • Boston
  • Debut: Broadway
  • Charlotte (mentioned in speech only)
  • Columbus Circus (mentioned in text only)
  • Debut: Dunkin' Crumpets
  • England (mentioned in speech only)
  • Debut: Farningworthshire
  • Fifth Avenue
  • Georgia (mentioned in text only)
  • The Hall of Presidents
  • Debut: Harrods
  • The Head Museum
  • Debut: The Hitchcock Memorial
  • Lexington (mentioned in speech only)
  • Louisa (mentioned in speech only)
  • Maribel (mentioned in speech only)
  • Massachusetts
  • The moon
  • New Jersey (mentioned in speech only)
  • North Carolina (mentioned in text only)
  • Old New York
  • Debut: The Old North Church
  • Peru (mentioned in speech only)
  • Debut: Philadelphia
  • The Planet Express conference room
  • The Planet Express hangar
  • The Planet Express headquarters
  • South Carolina (mentioned in text only)
  • Tokyo (mentioned in speech only)
  • Virginia (mentioned in text only)
  • Debut: West Britannia

Will the new section and the new notes be adopted? What do the other administrators think? I hope each of them "places" his name in the "right" spot... Sanfazer (talk) 21:59, 20 December 2012 (CET).

I have no strong feelings one way or the other. --Sviptalk 22:14, 20 December 2012 (CET)
Don't do this. I don't think I can handle a tie. Sanfazer (talk) 22:17, 20 December 2012 (CET).
I don't know, but my gut says "maybe". I've seen this on another wiki, where they had locations as sub-points of one another, and it looked terrible when there was only about 5 bullet points, each one indented slightly further than the one above. This is a nicer layout though, and the rule of wiki is to have plenty of different links to other pages. I'm leaning towards yes. - Quolnok (talk) 23:18, 21 December 2012 (CET)
What's the name of the wiki? Sanfazer (talk) 01:53, 22 December 2012 (CET).
Sounds like one that doesn't know how <ul>'s work. --Buddy (talk) 11:29, 22 December 2012 (CET)
I'll be very disappointed if it turns out to be the wiki which must not be named. Sanfazer (talk) 18:01, 22 December 2012 (CET).

No way. Way, my son.
