Name and ownership

There are basically two big puzzles regarding this particular place. First of all, I want to take the ownership part.

I may be incorrect here, but I do not recall Kif specifically mentioning it being his clan's grounds, but rather his species grounds. I am going to assume that the Amphobisians have several clans, who all share the same birthing grounds.

Now, if that is true, then using the same grounds for weddings (fon fon rubok) and funerals seems not only inappropriate, but also - you know - sort of a waste of efficiency. My assumption would be that these are three different places. Or at least, the funeral might be in the same place. The Grand Midwife does mention that she will return him to his origins.
