I feel that he is not dead. In his first episode appearance, Roberto damaged him pretty bad to use as a disguise. He could have been dead, but as seen in Bender's Game, he was alive an dwell. In Bender's Game he gets destroyed again(his head is smashed by a hammer, then stepped on by Roberto). His first destruction and re-appearance is enough to say that claiming his death is not possible. Too bad the series is over though, it would be a really funny running gag if every appearance of Dr. Perceptron ended in him getting destroyed. On the subject of whether Dr. Perceptron is dead or not:
