Episode Listing (broadcast order)

The "Episode Listing (broadcast order)" article has been labelled the following levels:

This article is thoroughly developed.
No focus level has been assigned.

why are they airing itwgy before Bender's Game? stupid!--My leg feels funny! 21:38, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

I have no idea. But apparently so are they doing. Here is the press release. I inspected the numbering for the episodes from the films, they are apparently a season each, which further increases the silliness. I was looking forward to a beauty scenario, where the entire production season would make the broadcast season. Oh, how a fool I was! --SvipTalk 21:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Hm, apparently, scrap the press release, their schedule seems to indicate they have revised their position and are airing them in the correct order as one broadcast season. --SvipTalk 15:44, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
well that is a relief!--My leg feels funny! 21:43, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Season 6 or season 7?

Continuing from Talk:Season 5#Season #0.

I think this talk page would be most appropriate. Personally, I think we should make a decision quickly. Let me sum it up for those not in the know:

Comedy Central considers the first broadcast season of season 6 to be broadcast season 6. We consider that to be season 5. Indeed, Comedy Central seems to not label the airings of season 5 as a broadcast season: it appears in its scheduling as 'season 0'.

However, I do not think season 0 is their actual name for it, I think it is just what the label things 'out of seasons'. So we have two options:

A. Stay the course (ignore Comedy Central's labellings and continue with our current method).

B. Shift broadcast season 7 and 8 to 6 and 7 respectively. Rename the broadcast season of season 5 to something appropriate (e.g. 'film season').

If we pick B, we still have some other decisions to make:

  1. What should we rename season 5's broadcast season to?
  2. Should we just remove it entirely (even though it did air)?

Let the debate commence! --Sviptalk 13:33, 26 June 2010 (CEST)

I vote B with the heading "2008 - 2009 specials". (And I'll note that we'll probably end up moving the other part of 6ACV into 6 later on)
I am going for A, however, as the entire web seems to be agreeing on calling it "season 7". Too much consensus for my liking. --Sviptalk 02:49, 27 June 2010 (CEST)
