Nuclear war/nuclear winter
So, apparently we need to discuss this. From the page:
- According to Turanga Leela in "Xmas Story", global warming was cancelled out by nuclear winter. Which exact nuclear winter we are talking about is unknown, but it may lead to the assumption that some nuclear war may have had erupted...
- ...in "The Luck of the Fryrish" Leela states that "you guys never had a single nuclear war"
We agree that nuclear winter happened, and that nuclear war is a likely cause, however meaning of the quote from Fryrish seems to be disputed.
The word "although" before that point would imply the quote indicates there has been no nuclear war, however I believe the implication of the quote is that while "you guys", i.e. the people of Fry's time, "never had a single nuclear war" others since then had, hence we would use the word "as" or rephrase that part entirely. - Quolnok 03:12, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
