(I'm not sure how accurate I am, its all from memory).

Fry finds his dog from before he got frozen in this episode. The dog has is made out of dodomite, so there is a chance of cloning him so Fry can really have his dog back. Bender gets jealous of the dog because Fry is spending all his time with it.

Later, when they try to bring the dog back to life, bender throws it in lava. Because it is dodomite, the dog can actually be saved, but it has very little time for that. Bender says hes part dodomite, and goes in to save the dog.

Then, they figure out the dog was around 15 when he died. So Fry gives up on reviving the dog.

The end song either is a song by connie francis or is a cover of it. (I'm not sure what its called, but you can just google this, connie francis, if it takes forever).
