::It was a joke made by Ken Keeler, someone who uses sarcasm and other jokes similar to this one in almost all of the commentaries he's participated in. There's nothing remotely close to Bender melting away in this movie and there never was in the first place. It was a joke, followed by laughter. If this is accepted as trivia then why not include that Ken Keeler may be suffering from amnesia or using recreational drugs that alter his memory? It was a joke made by Ken Keeler, someone who uses sarcasm and other jokes similar to this one in almost all of the commentaries he's participated in.
