This "goof" is present in the Goofs section: "In "Lethal Inspection", we learned that all bending units are equiped with a wireless back-up copy of them being updated everyday. Clearly, the character Billy West was also a bending unit (except he can't bend) so the Robot Mafia had never really killed Bender (really Billy West) meaning the real Bender could still be in danger."  I don't think this is a goof of any sort.  We've seen several Bending units in the past, and all of the Robot Mafia believes that Clamps killed our Bender.  As such, unless someone comments to someone else in the Robot Mafia that the Bender they are after is dead, there's no possible way they would know or even think that Bender is still alive, even if seeing another Bending unit that looks just like him.  Even if they did, the Robot Mafia probably wouldn't even care or notice, seeing as how not only has Bender been a part of the Mafia in the past, but he had that affair with Fanny and no one in the Mafia cares anymore, so I doubt they would care if they see him and know he was the same Bender.  I think this should be removed from the section.  [[User:Polantaris|Polantaris]] 01:30, 19 July 2011 (CEST)

Title?

Fun I should bring this up again. But this time it is actually slightly disputed. Both "Bend on a Wire" and "The Silence of the Clamps" seems possible. However, the latter seems to be quite favourable for several reasons.

As i_c_weiner correctly points out on PEEL, it would be most likely for "The Silence of the Clamps" to be the episode name, given how it focuses on Clamps (we know that from Maurice LaMarche) and "Bend on a Wire" is a more generic title. --Sviptalk 13:14, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Most probably yes, but I think we have to stick with the ACV code until certain. I'd also assume that the row of images and names are an episode ideas listing, whereas the blue/red scripts are more recent and that the colour indicates how complete the script is (not sure which is which though). - Quolnok 22:36, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Red is first draft, blue is final draft. That's as much as I know. --Sviptalk 23:23, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Airing Date

I'm a bit confused about the air date right now. I find conflictive dates even on this site.

On the Main Page, the date is 23 June, while on the episode listing, the episode page and other places, the date is 21 July. This is apparently taken from a tweet from Eric Rogers.

But on other sites, I mostly find the first date(23 June), namely the official comedy central page, IMDB, wikipedia and vulture.

So, have I missed something or what?

Svip is the one who changed it so I'd ask him. In my opinion, it is because not everyone has had a chance to update or even knows that the date has changed. Teyrn of Highever 14:37, 27 April 2011 (CEST)
Svip is probably waiting for Comedy Central to reveal which episode will air on June 23. Only then will Infosphere:Upcoming episode be updated. Sanfazer 23:49, 27 April 2011 (CEST)

Zoidberg's name

Is this the first time Zoidberg gives his name as "John"? I don't recall ever hearing anyone say his full name in the series. -- DeepSpaceHomer 16:46, 15 July 2011 (CEST)

Hermes said his full name in BBS. But yes, it is the first time that Zoidberg referred to himself by his full name. -- Jasonbres 19:54, 15 July 2011 (CEST)
Oh, I completely forgot about that. I had thought that this episode was the first time we canonically learned Zoidberg's full name, but I was wrong. -- DeepSpaceHomer 20:04, 15 July 2011 (CEST)

Sheriff Burley

Sheriff Burley appears to be a parody of Mr Furley from Three's Company.

Family Bros Pizza

The Pizzeria they're at is Family Bros Pizza formerly owned by the Cygnoids from the episode "A Leela of Her Own". I think the Cygnoids sold it to Fishy Joe at the end of that episode. It still has the slogan "Authentic Earth Pizza".

Goof isn't Goof?

This "goof" is present in the Goofs section: "In "Lethal Inspection", we learned that all bending units are equiped with a wireless back-up copy of them being updated everyday. Clearly, the character Billy West was also a bending unit (except he can't bend) so the Robot Mafia had never really killed Bender (really Billy West) meaning the real Bender could still be in danger." I don't think this is a goof of any sort. We've seen several Bending units in the past, and all of the Robot Mafia believes that Clamps killed our Bender. As such, unless someone comments to someone else in the Robot Mafia that the Bender they are after isn't dead, there's no possible way they would know or even think that Bender is still alive, even if seeing another Bending unit that looks just like him. To add to this, if all robots are equipped with a backup unit, they would also know this, and then wouldn't have stopped looking for him in the first place, if you want to use that. Regardless, this isn't a goof, and I think this should be removed from the section. Polantaris 01:30, 19 July 2011 (CEST)
