It has to be 1948 as Philip J. Fry apparently impregnated Mildred Fry in June 1947.
He is not Yancy Fry Sr.
His son Yancy says that he wants to be named Philip, to which his father replys "No your name is Yancy, like me and my grandfather all the way back to "Minuteman" Yancy Fry who blasted Commies in the American Revolution".
