"Wrong order"?

That's the way I've been doing it the whole time I've been here; newest day of seven on top, add new items to the bottom of their day, use whichever of the images from the first articles of the day is best*

*mostly based on whim

I thought it was the newest goes on top and uses that picture. I sometimes use the "Other New Articles" page. — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ] 04:05, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Strictly speaking there's no rule on where in the section it goes or which of the images to use, so long as the articles all go up, there's an image from the most recent day (if one exists**) and there's only seven days there. - Quolnok 05:07, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
**otherwise keep the old one. - Quolnok 11:36, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Can anyone shed some light on this? — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ] 22:44, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Uh, did I not just do that? The whim based system has worked for three years. So long as everything is put in the right day (based on the person who is adding it to the template's timezone), there are seven days and a recent, related image is there. - Quolnok 00:30, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Alrighty, then. — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ] 01:20, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
