==Description==
The '''Tube Transport System''' is a tube for citizens to go to across places and towns. A user will ask it where to go, and a computerized hear will make sure the path is clear and will take him to where the user wants to go. If there isn't a location of where the user wants to go, it will drop him off where the closest area is. Users go head first into the tube, giving the user a chance to land on their feet. First time users ([[Philip J. Fry|Fry]] for example) usually don't land on their feet, and hit something close by, or fly through the air, because they have not technically mastered this manoeuvre yet. The abbreviation is TTS.


The Tube Transport System is free of charge and government funded.

The '''Tube Transport System''' (abbreviated ''TTS'') is a form of mass transit in [[New New York City]], replacing [[Old New York City]]'s underground {{w|New York Subway|subway}}.  The system consists of several transparent tubes, forking and merging without more apparent mechanism.  Despite their apparent inability to perform, they are capable of transporting passengers to where they wish to go.

Passengers enter head first, but manage to exit on their feet.  However, it is common for tourists not to figure out the tube, so they occasionally land on something other than their feet. The TTS seems to be based on old pneumatic tubes, originally used to transport documents throughout offices (in fact, this can still be seen at the [[Central Bureaucracy]]).

The Tube Transport System (abbreviated TTS) is a form of mass transit in New New York City, replacing Old New York City's underground subway. The system consists of several transparent tubes, forking and merging without more apparent mechanism. Despite their apparent inability to perform, they are capable of transporting passengers to where they wish to go.
