The Twitt-worm is a computer virus created by Mom which can be activated when someone has one million followers in Twitcher. Because of a contest between Fry and Bender, they both had one million followers. Then, Mom had the ability to infect both Fry's and Bender's followers to control their brains and make them buy the eyePhone 2.0.
Production
According to the commentary of "Attack of the Killer App", it was originally called the "Death-Twit", but they changed it when they realized no-one was getting killed.
