- New New England makes a brief mention in "The Cyber House Rules" (3ACV09) by Bender, where he calls the orphans "princes of Maine" and "kings of New New England".
- The addition of another "New" maybe a reference to the fact that it is not just the state of New New York that have been the destroyed, but that entire region.
