The United States Presidential Election of 2000 was held the 8th November, 2000 at Florida to choose the new USA president. The contestants for the office were George W. Bush and Al Gore. Gore was supossed to win the election but Bender ruins it by traveling back in time to search for Fry and kill him. Bender thinks Philip Joshua Fry, Al Gore's manager, is his friend Fry so he tries to kill him but doing that he destroys all votes to Al Gore, so Bush wins the election.
