Locations in "Simpsorama"
OMG! Why are you still here? Do you want candy? Is that why you're still here? Oh, you wanna talk to me! That's it, isn't it? Well, then, you could've given me a call, like I told you. Never mind. Simply click the Add topic button and say whatever you want to. But be nice. I'll probably click the Edit button a few minutes later and give you a reply. Suggestion: If you have some spare time, try figuring out how similar these Description sections are. It'll blow your mind. Additionally, in case you wanna view this page's History for some reason, click the link I've just provided you with, instead of using the regular, boring way you're accustomed to. (I love linking!)

Because I already know you're gonna ask, we deduced that the location in the "Simpsorama" screenshot released yesterday is set in Professor Frink's lab here (notice the corner at the back is identical to the one in the "Simpsorama" image). ::: Is *the lab* in Springfield? If so, yes. If not, I think we shouldn't. Simply because there is no evidence of Springfield being a location in the promos/information released so far. (Although of course Springfield will appear. (I'm betting 10 <s>Futurama euros.</s> Professor Land fun bucks.)) == Wikisimpsons links ==

Hi, I've noticed links to Wikisimpsons are still showing up as simpsonswiki.net. We moved to simpsonswiki.com a while ago, so I was wondering whether you'd be able to update the link to point there instead. Doesn't make much of a difference since the old .net URL redirects there anyway, but it'd be better to not have the redirection. Thanks, ☆<span style="font-family:Algerian"><span style="color:green">The</span> <span style="color:red">Solar</span> <span style="color:blue">Dragon</span></span>☆ 14:09, 12 October 2014 (CEST)

Hi there, I saw you commented on Nrc8127's talk page about him/her breaking the rules on changing British to American. Ofcourse you're right and it's awesome that you take responsibility to tell him/her in such a polite manner, but I just wanted to drop by and point out that you could also have reverted the actual change. I did it now, so don't worry, I just wanted to come by and say that. Oh, and ofcourse your change of terrible to horrible doesn't count as breaking the rules as it's a direct quote, but I guessed that was sarcasm. :) Aki 01:37, 5 January 2011 (CET)
:LOL. Actually, it wasn't sarcasm at all. I meant the comma and the quotation marks! The comma was inside the quotation marks in one sentence, and outside in another sentence. All in the same paragraph. I was just trying so standardise it a bit, and so I chose the way I like best. (Should've written an edit summary, I guess.) Hi. Actually, I was aware that The Infosphere and Wikisimpsons were affiliates (in fact, I have an account with them as well).  I just felt that the Wikipedia article I linked was more informative about the episode in question.  But thank you for the information about affiliate linking to them, since I was in the dark about that. -- DeepSpaceHomer 19:27, 20 January 2011 (CET)
:I thought you wouldn't know simply because you registered in December, and the affiliation took place in November. But, of course, that means nothing. Oh, and, don't worry about that Simpsons article business. I think it pretty much only links to Wikipedia, anyway. Which means you did the right thing. All right, I can explain everything. First of all, I'm American, and so I don't know British grammar. I know what I was raised to know, and that would be American grammar. I had no idea that the grammar fixes I was making were correct. So you can't really blame me for my ignorance. (I hope you know it's wrong now, though, so I can blame you in the future.) So the point of posts like mine is not to remark that one's method is flawed, but to improve it. I understand what you did but the reason I changed the article before wasn't it's appearance. It was because I couldn't find any articles that listed where the quotes came from. I've checked ten other articles and none of them, no matter the size, listed where the quotes came from. Is what you did a personal preference or to bring that article to the Infosphere's standards? Teyrn of Highever 01:46, 19 February 2011 (CET)

But I'm sure three of the episodes this one mentioned are correct: Zoidberg scaring the people in the pool (2ACV05), Yivo addressing everyone in existence in the church (TBWABB), and Randy talking about his poodle as Bender and Amy are trying to legalise robosexual marriage (6ACV04). What you suggested in the infobox would be the square root of the fourth root of 4 or the eighth root of 4. This would be about 1.19. According to two different scientific calculators and the physicist who lives next door, my math was correct. The fourth root of 4 and the square root of 2 are equal. Teyrn of Highever 01:10, 21 February 2011 (CET)
And another thing
:Also, looking at your edit, you did not remove that 4√4 equals 1.41. This leaves the issue with √2 equaling 1.41. That point can be easily checked on a basic, non-scientific calculator. Teyrn of Highever 01:32, 21 February 2011 (CET)
::You're right. My math really is off. When I first cleaned up the page days ago, I was interpreting 4√4 as the 4th root of 4 (4√4), but today I interpreted it as 4 times the square root of 4 (4*√4). This is a result of me not being used to studying math in the computer, which can let me down at times. Sorry for the trouble, man. (PS: My suggestion was in the edit summary, not the infobox.) Is there a standard for when a title may refer to multiple pages? I thought that if there are only two pages with similar names, one page could link to another without having to go through a disambiguation page. :The standard is basically a disambiguation page is used when the subjects follow into the same level of importance.  Take Joe, all its subjects included are equal important if you catch my drift.  However, one person is more likely to be interested in the character of Al Gore than the voice actor/real person.  Does that mean a character page precedes a voice actor page?  No, because I would say the reverse is true in the case of Katey Sagal.

We have a problem
Hello and good day, I require your opinion about the page I have linked above. The images of the captions are of a lower quality than the ones I currently have. Mine are in a 16:9 format (800x436), whilst the ones already uploaded are in a 4:3 format (640x480). The 4:3 appear much better as thumbnails and are much more focused on the caption. Mine, on the other hand, are much sharper and and reveal more of the image. (The first image currently uploaded is my own (Lick Screen For "Surprise") and the second is from Buddy13 (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary Of Top Ramen Noodle Corp.). If you could respond to me about this issue as quickly as possible, I would be able to either, undo the change already made or update these images. Hi there! I notice you edited my "Tanqueraydar" submission for "Fry Am the Egg Man", with the comment "matched to transcript". I was wondering where the transcript came from, and looked at the "Infosphere: Transcript" page. Is it true the transcripts are submitted by viewers/readers? The edit per transcript changes "Tanqueraydar" to "Tanqueray-dar", but I got the word, sans hypen, from the Netflix stream subtitles. Would that not be a reliable source? I'm not trying to be a polemicist; I'm legitimately curious. I have no idea who creates the subtitles; it might be someone who works for some third-party company, without access to the original script. But then, if the transcripts are just submitted by eager fans, is that a better source? And as a portmanteau, "Tanqueraydar" doesn't really seem to need a hyphen. If you can provide any insight, I'd appreciate it. I enjoy the site, and want to be prepared for this kind of thing in future. Thanks!
The IP was already banned
:It is usually one of the things we cannot be certain of.  But subtitles are not reliable.  They are not made by people with access to the scripts.  There are several cases of spelling mistakes or misunderstandings in subtitles, even on the DVDs.

Hey!  I noticed that you removed the detail from the article Enceladus about the moon being known as "Saturn's main dump moon."  On one hand, I think it's a fairly important detail, and that having Farnsworth say it as a quote isn't enough.  On the other hand, I do see your point that just because Farnsworth said it doesn't mean that everyone knows it as that.  So, my compromise is to put "According to Professor Farnsworth, it is known as 'Saturn's main dump moon'."  Will you agree to that? Gentlemen.<br/>I wasn't a fan of Nelexa having blocking capabilities, or blocking by bot in general. I was disappointed that he decided to sign an addition in the main namespace. I was confused by Sanfazer's suggestion to leave the pages vandalised and subsequent denial thereof, perhaps he was quoting an earlier comment from Nalexa? I dug through contribution history and couldn't find it. Then I saw that Nalexa as Bender reverted his bot's vandalism. I'd missed that and thought the bot had malfunctioned on seeing the other reversions by Solar Dragon of the bot account's work. The bot is currently blocked for a year, but I'm considering increasing that to indefinite. Nalexa's block... I wanted to find a reason to reduce it, but I can't. I saw the range block go into place and thought "Yeah, I guess it's about time" - I had considered it back in... March?! Seriously?! ...but at the time it wasn't from just the one IP range and the blocks would have locked out too many innocents. I think the range block should go back up but for some period less than a year, perhaps 3 months - sorry other Americans using TMobile.<br/>Other notes: The only way to contact the vandal is by leaving a note on their talk page, which they are unlikely to see with a dynamic IP on a mobile phone, Special:EmailUser won't work as there's no user account. - Quolnok (talk) 11:41, 12 September 2015 (CEST)
:Well, Sanfazer is claiming to not be a fan right now, even though he said "anyone who can be trusted to delete pages can be trusted to do the other stuff". But the http://theinfosphere.org/index.php?title=Turanga_Leela&diff=prev&oldid=152243 part was actually because I was trying to make it look less vandalism-y if I  re-did with the account is was reverted in. And that actually won't work, because I need an out-of-wiki way. I need to still be blocked in order for it to work, and the only way I can edit talk pages is to unblock me! I guess we're kind of stuck, and the vandalism will keep going 4ever :/ 73.164.199.19 16:57, 12 September 2015 (CEST)
:::::::::: Yes. That was a clear joke.
: "Sanfazer's suggestion to leave the pages vandalised": I never suggested that. Perhaps if Nalexa had linked a diff as I'm sure he/she can, instead of weirdly linking a print of my post, *no one* would've been confused.
: (Fewer and fewer people are using control-"F".)
: "Increasing that to indefinite": I agree. (If indefinite means a block of *over* a year.)
: "The range block should go back up": I disagree. These people clearly have an agenda and we shouldn't let them harm the wiki. Not by vandalizing it not by getting us to prevent editing.
: This vandalism is fine. Wikis get vandalism. It's just it's usually not this suspicious.

"Indefinite" is the maximum block available, which doesn't expire automatically. I'm fairly sure it's only one person now, but may have started as a group. Everyone else got bored. This guy changes IPs when his phone looses reception or something. His home and work/school IPs appear to be fixed as I've just reblocked one of those. == Spambot account flood ==
I know it's suspicious that I am writing from a vandals IP, but you must belive me. My wife and I share a phone. (I have a feeling she just vandalized and will continue after I hand the phone back.) Please go easy on her. She just got out of the mental hospital. I know it sounds weird but she needs to be doing this.

I was following up on some info from another website and wound up over here. Looks like your wiki has been hit by a spambot attack. There's over 100 accounts being created every day. I stopped counting, but about 50,000 have been created in the last month.
Whats Wrong Sanfazer?
It doesn't look like the accounts are being used for anything, but wherever you get tech support for this wiki, you might want to see if they have an update that will change the account creation method. 76.28.141.211 07:54, 13 September 2013 (CEST)

This user is on wiki vacation.
He/she (we don't know) will be back on CURRENTDAY^2.

Who is that fellow? What is he doing?
Oh, dear! I really oughta do something!
But I am already in my pajamas.

Let's see how crazy I am now, Nixon!
The correct answer is "very".

Zoidberg: What's this?

Locations in "Simpsorama"

Because I already know you're gonna ask, we deduced that the location in the "Simpsorama" screenshot released yesterday is set in Professor Frink's lab here (notice the corner at the back is identical to the one in the "Simpsorama" image). DannyJC13 (talk) 22:34, 5 September 2014 (CEST)

Oh. Okay. So I *won't* ask.
Good job. Sanfazer: [talk] 22:44, 5 September 2014 (CEST).
I think it's a given we can add Springfield to that list, then? DannyJC13 (talk) 22:48, 5 September 2014 (CEST)
Is *the lab* in Springfield? If so, yes. If not, I think we shouldn't. Simply because there is no evidence of Springfield being a location in the promos/information released so far. (Although of course Springfield will appear. (I'm betting 10 Futurama euros. Professor Land fun bucks.)) I'm going to remove Springfield from the list; if someone confirms that the lab is located there, it should be put back in. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:52, 5 September 2014 (CEST).

Yes. It is. But there's no need for it. So it shouldn't have been made. Sanfazer: [talk] 18:54, 1 October 2014 (CEST).
But why use a harder version? 67.171.158.66 01:18, 2 October 2014 (CEST)
Because using an easier version doesn't change anything. Sanfazer: [talk] 12:34, 2 October 2014 (CEST).
If it changes nothing, then why use the harder one? BTW, what is the policy for becoming sysop on this wiki? Is it invitation, do you request it, are there elections. I'd like to become one (I know you can't edit user rights, just wondering) because I may be more active if I can bypass the CAPTCHA. Nalexa (talk) 04:43, 3 October 2014 (CEST)
So people won't make any more changes that change nothing.

Wikisimpsons links

Hi, I've noticed links to Wikisimpsons are still showing up as simpsonswiki.net. We moved to simpsonswiki.com a while ago, so I was wondering whether you'd be able to update the link to point there instead. Doesn't make much of a difference since the old .net URL redirects there anyway, but it'd be better to not have the redirection. Thanks, ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 14:09, 12 October 2014 (CEST)

Are you being sarcastic, dude? LunchTime123 17:26, 13 August 2015 (CEST) (timestamp added by Sanfazer (talk))

As the newest bureaucrat

Would you like to execute the thing on User_talk:Svip for me? Nalexa (talk) 03:49, 1 June 2015 (CEST)

Svip said he would leave whether to let me confirm accounts to you (Seriously, right now, my bot outranks me!!) Nalexa (talk) 23:56, 1 June 2015 (CEST)
But I'm only 50% sure I need to because you now can as well. Nalexa (talk) 23:56, 1 June 2015 (CEST)
I've already said I'd confirm the accounts.
My reply to Svip. Sanfazer: [talk] 02:32, 2 June 2015 (CEST).

I need some XML files imported into User:Bender Nalexa (talk) 12:23, 1 June 2015 (CEST)

I'm not the guy to ask. Sorry. Sanfazer: [talk] 02:32, 2 June 2015 (CEST).

Help me.....

I signed in as Bender so I could change my password (as I am leaving, and this account has the power to delete the main page!) but the Special:Preferences bug is happening again. This is kinda urgent, but I don't want this account demoted because then I'll have to wait forever when I come back. Bender (talk) 04:51, 3 June 2015 (CEST)

Why would Bender have to change his password? I don't understand. (Is someone out to get him?) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:54, 3 June 2015 (CEST).

Weve got big problems

We need to find a way to change my password, NOW!! I accidentally signed on to a computer to say I felt bad about the vandalism while I was gone, but the computer was KEYLOGGED! And my nalexa password is same one as bender! Nalexa (talk) 21:19, 28 June 2015 (CEST)

Blocked Bender.
Tell Svip. (If Svip's not able to change your password, I would recommend creating a new bot.) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:39, 28 June 2015 (CEST).
I fixed it. Nalexa (talk) 06:33, 21 August 2015 (CEST)
How? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:06, 21 August 2015 (CEST).

Links to Wikisimpsons

Hi. I'm Loco87, an admin in Wikisimpsons and also a huge Futurama fan. I've noticed that the links to wikisimpsons don't work because they link to "simpsonswiki.net". They should be changed to link to "simpsonswiki.com". The ".net" used to redirect to the ".com" during some time after the move (from net to com), but now it doesn't redirect, so the links should be changed. Thanks! / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 13:01, 22 July 2015 (CEST)

I've informed our steward. Thanks for letting me know. Sanfazer: [talk] 21:24, 22 July 2015 (CEST).

Need an account

Hello Sanfazer. I'm LunchTime123, though I don't have an account on this wiki. I would like to request one, but I'm just too damn nervous! What can I do? -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 86.144.139.1.

Why are you nervous?
Here's the link to the request form. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:06, 3 August 2015 (CEST).

Hey I kinda object to that :/

The way to resolve edit warring is protecting the page--not blocking them. ESPECIALLY if you're not blocking yourself. Nalexa (talk) 05:29, 10 August 2015 (CEST)

No it's not. Protecting the page would mean less edits just because someone decided to be unreasonable.
"Blocking yourself": I'm not the one making the edit. :) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:08, 10 August 2015 (CEST).

I have a question

Should I create pages about ITV Digital and ITV Select? Sky1, which broadcasts Futurama, is one of the channels on ITV Digital, and ITV Select, the pay-per-view movie service on ITV Digital, has the Futurama films. So, should I? LunchTime123 10:31, 13 August 2015 (CEST) (timestamp added by Sanfazer (talk))

According to Wikipedia, neither has existed since 2002.
Regardless, I don't think so, no. We don't need a page for every service that provides Futurama. We *could* have a page about them, though. (That is...listing them.) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:16, 13 August 2015 (CEST).

Unblock bender

I got it fixed. And I think I was wrong to say that TOS-making user had good intentions. Nalexa (talk) 05:29, 23 August 2015 (CEST)

How did you get it fixed? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 23 August 2015 (CEST).
It turns out it was a WEBPAGE logger, not keylogger. Nalexa (talk) 00:54, 1 September 2015 (CEST)
Unblocked. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:12, 1 September 2015 (CEST).

Did you actually DECODE all that?!?!

The image I gave you in the summary. Did you? :P Nalexa (talk) 04:05, 28 August 2015 (CEST)

No. I have better things to do I'm too lazy. (Why do you ask?) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 28 August 2015 (CEST).
You didn't revert the edit :P -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by Nalexa.
Should I have? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 29 August 2015 (CEST).
No. You just usually do if you don't agree with something or have a reason to agree with it. Nalexa (talk) 06:22, 1 September 2015 (CEST)
True. In theory, everything should have a source (which is the same as saying "a source that backs what it's a source for"), but since this is a small wiki you can expect that whatever change is justified and if it's not that someone who knows it will revert it. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:12, 1 September 2015 (CEST).

Windmills

Is Linda joking about the windmills? I assumed that she was serious because she does seem ditsy. -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 2.100.74.37.

We have a problem

That guy who keeps adding anything to do with diarrhoea or some nonsensical gibberish like that there is back again. [as Professor Farnsworth] Why? WHY?! WHY DIDN'T YOU BAN WHOEVER HE IS FROM THE INFOSPHERE??!! -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by LunchTime123.

Don't look at me! I've been blocking these gentlemen for as long as I can remember! It's just they like this hobby of theirs too much. Believe it or not. And who am I to crush people's hopes for the future? (No pun intended.) Fox? Comedy Central? Calculon's doctor? (I'm pretty sure those are other people, but I could be wrong.) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:08, 30 August 2015 (CEST).
Well, I could be Channel 4, Sky1 or The Queen of England, but you don't see me bragging on about it. -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by LunchTime123.
Yeah. Those are pretty weak people.
Oops. Self laugh. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 31 August 2015 (CEST).
Well, the whole cops-and-robbers thing is probably what he wants. I propose we try leaving them that way for a few weeks and see if he stops. Nalexa (talk) 00:56, 1 September 2015 (CEST)
Who are you? My tennis instructor? -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by LunchTime123.

Yes, I am. Tennis has even a little relevance to this conversation. Nalexa (talk) 18:05, 1 September 2015 (CEST)

I propose we try leaving them that way for a few days and see if they stop. And if not we call the League of Robots. Unless it's a cartoon for babies. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:12, 1 September 2015 (CEST).
I'm sorry but that's a stupid solution. All it'll do is make the IP think "Hahaha. They've finally given up" then he'll probably go about making more edits. There are definitely better solutions. I gave you one below, range blocking. Just block every IP in the ranges the vandal edits from. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:02, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
That wasn't my solution. It was Nalexa's weird suggestion.
No. Because they might be using / start using proxies. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 4 September 2015 (CEST).

Glitch

It's about deleted pages. For example, I just deleted my user page. I still have the option to create it even when logged out. Nalexa (talk) 23:53, 1 September 2015 (CEST)

You should. At least I think so. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:54, 1 September 2015 (CEST).
No no no. You're not supposed to be able to. But I will recreate anyway. Nalexa (talk) 05:13, 2 September 2015 (CEST)
Are you basing that on anything, or is it your personal opinion? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 2 September 2015 (CEST).
Oh, NVM. On some wikis, once a page has been deleted, you have to be a user to re-create again. Nalexa (talk) 03:05, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
I see. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 4 September 2015 (CEST).

The IP was already banned

^ Nalexa (talk) 03:04, 4 September 2015 (CEST)

Yes. It was. The length of the ban was wrong. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 4 September 2015 (CEST).

Please stop linking to that one edit

My monitor turns red to black, and with the background I have no way of seeing that. I am looking at my own edits but everyone makes mistakes. Nalexa (talk) 04:34, 4 September 2015 (CEST)

I'm sorry, but that's not my problem. :) Perhaps you should find a way to fix it if you plan on continuing editing wikis.
No you are not. Not if you make mistakes like this with such frequency. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 4 September 2015 (CEST).
Try installing this in firefox/chrome. - Quolnok (talk) 11:37, 12 September 2015 (CEST)

Try a range block

Block 172.56.0.0/16. This should help stop a lot of the vandalism. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 10:58, 4 September 2015 (CEST)

Done. Can you request accounts while blocked? I included a link because it's a range (and innocent users may be involved) Nalexa (talk) 16:10, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
I don't know as we don't use the request account system at Wikisimpsons. And I can't see what the block user interface is like here. Is there a tick box that says something along the lines of "prevent account creation"? I'm unsure if that also prevents account requesting. You could try blocking your IP and seeing if requesting an account works.
Hopefully this will put a stop to most of it. He might get a new IP range in another location. All you can do is keep range blocking. Eventually he'll run out of places to vandalise from and IPs and it'll stop. I've had to deal with a handful of persistent vandals at Wikisimpsons over the years and range blocking seems to be the best way to stop them. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 16:42, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
Hello Solar Dragon! Blocking Interface.jpg is what a user sees when blocking people. There is infact a prevent account creation one, but it doesn't matter as account creation is locked either way anyway. Ok, I will try blocking my IP for 20 minutes tho. Nalexa (talk) 17:01, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
It worked! It didn't work on another wiki but that was just a modded version. Nalexa (talk) 17:14, 4 September 2015 (CEST)
Reply.

Reverted blocks.

You should have waited for an admin's input. You are not an admin. You may not choose who gets blocked. No one gave you free rein on blocks. You may block users that you detect doing vandalism, and I thought that was being done automatically. (= "bot".) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:18, 4 September 2015 (CEST).

Please answer your email.

I've been waiting forever. 73.164.199.19 17:34, 7 September 2015 (CEST)

Write here.
(I didn't get anything, by the way.) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 7 September 2015 (CEST).
Fine, I will.
I I was, in fact, not "inserting nonsense/gibberish into pages". Technically, you said "I propose leaving them that way for a few days to see if they stop", then something about LOR.
Lake Mutagenic does have an extremely slim chance of improving the rat's appearance. It happened in a deleted scene.
And I am very sorry about trying to create my own solutions, I was just eager to put an end to it. 73.164.199.19 23:37, 7 September 2015 (CEST)
And one more thing. If you want to unblock me, give me the respect of a user, but DO NOT unblock me. Do we have any ways of contacting the real vandal? (I have a plan) 73.164.199.19 05:07, 8 September 2015 (CEST)
Yes you were.
Lake Mutagenic is not why you were blocked.
You were eager?
I am not unblocking you.
A plan, you say? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:08, 8 September 2015 (CEST).
OK, here's what I mean. Vandalism is a blatant attempt to disrupt the wiki. Immediate block is a bit of an overreaction when you technically agreed to it (look at the talk page) 73.164.199.19 23:36, 8 September 2015 (CEST)
I "technically agreed" to have you vandalize pages? You have no credibility. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 9 September 2015 (CEST).
Nalexa always wins! 73.164.199.19 06:19, 10 September 2015 (CEST)
That's a good reference. I'll give you that.
Wait. I'm not giving you anything. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 10 September 2015 (CEST).
You are kidding, right?
Because if you are not, maybe I really shouldn't work with you. Here's the thing : I am faster both manually and automatically at reverting vandalism than you. So why stick around over this? For example, the pages are all vandalized right now. I *can* revert it but I'm not going to. 73.164.199.19 04:32, 11 September 2015 (CEST)
We can revert it without you thank you very much. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:04, 11 September 2015 (CEST).
Well, it depends. Are you joking when you are saying "I'm not giving you anything". 73.164.199.19 02:31, 12 September 2015 (CEST)

Gentlemen.
I wasn't a fan of Nelexa having blocking capabilities, or blocking by bot in general. I was disappointed that he decided to sign an addition in the main namespace[5]. I was confused by Sanfazer's suggestion to leave the pages vandalised and subsequent denial thereof, perhaps he was quoting an earlier comment from Nalexa? I dug through contribution history and couldn't find it. Then I saw that Nalexa as Bender reverted his bot's vandalism[6]. I think the range block should go back up but for some period less than a year, perhaps 3 months - sorry other Americans using TMobile.
Other notes: The only way to contact the vandal is by leaving a note on their talk page, which they are unlikely to see with a dynamic IP on a mobile phone, Special:EmailUser won't work as there's no user account. - Quolnok (talk) 11:41, 12 September 2015 (CEST)

Well, Sanfazer is claiming to not be a fan right now, even though he said "anyone who can be trusted to delete pages can be trusted to do the other stuff".
Yes. That was a clear joke.
"Sanfazer's suggestion to leave the pages vandalised": I never suggested that. Perhaps if Nalexa had linked a diff as I'm sure he/she can, instead of weirdly linking a print of my post, *no one* would've been confused.
(Fewer and fewer people are using control-"F".)
"Increasing that to indefinite": I agree. (If indefinite means a block of *over* a year.)
"The range block should go back up": I disagree. These people clearly have an agenda and we shouldn't let them harm the wiki. Not by vandalizing it not by getting us to prevent editing.
This vandalism is fine. Wikis get vandalism. It's just it's usually not this suspicious.
"Even though he said": Exactly. But I was referring to people in general. You clearly deserve no trust.
"The only way I can edit talk pages": Don't worry. No one is going to unblock you.
"The vandalism will keep going 4ever :/": I'm assuming that's not a threat. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:38, 12 September 2015 (CEST).
That actually wouldn't have helped, the screenshot comes from here perhaps somewhere else he said it, but this one was definitely you. We've done site wide blocks before in an effort to contain bots, this would be far less disruptive to potential editors. - Quolnok (talk) 03:37, 13 September 2015 (CEST)
Well, that was a terrible joke. And the other things you said make it even worse. It's a good thing we're not going to work together. Goodbye. 73.164.199.19 06:14, 13 September 2015 (CEST)
"Perhaps somewhere else": No. It's in that section.
"Maximum block available": I know. I meant I didn't want a block of indefinite to mean a return in less than a year.
"Far less disruptive": Yes. I'm just saying it should be avoided to the greatest extent possible.
They're not supposed to. :) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:16, 13 September 2015 (CEST).
Nah, yeah I see it now. Still though, it is often hard to tell if someone is joking online. - Quolnok (talk) 11:20, 14 September 2015 (CEST)
Silence! I concur.
I should *never* be taken seriously. Not even when I say this very sentence. (Although which of the two sentences "this very sentence" refers to I don't even know.) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:08, 14 September 2015 (CEST).
Are you positive you can do it without me? Because the vandal just created an account (but didn't get the password) then vandalized 20 pages with the same IP. 73.164.199.19 06:44, 25 September 2015 (CEST)

I'm telling you its my wife doing the vandallism. I need that a count so I don't get blocked when she does. -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by 172.56.8.197.

Dude, just fuck off. We know it's you. You don't even have a wife. -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by LunchTime123.
Yes. Yes I am. :)
The vandal, now?
This is funnier than freaking Futurama. I'm considering quitting this damn wiki and going all "Godfellas". (So much for the Infosphere wiki. I thought it was a pretty good wiki, but...)
Reverting this vandalism is feeling better and better. (There's just other things I'd like to do instead.)
(Just so "all of" you know, I wrote this after seeing only Person #1's post. So if you think you've got talk...come at me, bro. :) (But you've got nothing, don't you? :) (You try pretty hard, though.))) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:22, 25 September 2015 (CEST).

Outdenting. LunchTime, I will say that that was kind of harsh (even though I think Sanfazer was wrong to block you for it. However, husband of the alleged "vandal", I would like to point out that your "wife" started vandalizing pages 2 minutes after you posted that on the conference table. I am very sorry, but that's kind of suspicious. And what even more is that those are cell phone IPs and you probably don't share the same phone. 73.164.199.19 02:30, 26 September 2015 (CEST)

""Block" you for it": I blocked him for something else.
"Started vandalizing pages": Yes. We all saw it. And that means you would too.
"That's kind of suspicious": Yes. He seems like a troll, doesn't he?
I would like to see you keep this up if only because it will make my talk page longer. But to be honest I'm pretty tired of talk pages and especially of you. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:06, 26 September 2015 (CEST).
Please don't say you are tired of a person---it doesn't make a website friendly in my experience :( 73.164.199.19 04:10, 29 September 2015 (CEST)
I am not a website. :) Sanfazer: [talk] 23:16, 29 September 2015 (CEST).
OK, based on the vandal's new conference table post, he obviously wants you to stop him. 73.164.199.19 05:28, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
Actually, I'm gonna try the "I'm banned too let's work together" card. But you'll have to block my IP and then I won't be able to try my other scheme. Should we go for it? 73.164.199.19 05:30, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
I told him I will start doing it too so I can try to get dirt on him. I guess I'll be blocked on my IP too but what the hell. (BTW, I told him I will vandalize too but I won't be) 73.164.199.19 05:38, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
Damn, he's ignoring me. 73.164.199.19 05:45, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
That plan was never going to work. Neither was blocking individual IPs. I'm sick of seeing this place used as a toilet and I don't think Sanfazer is coping with it as well as he thinks he is, but I'm no psychiatrist. I'm not the suppository of all wisdom, but a suppository sounds like a good way to stop diarrhoea. Two range blocks are now in place on the favoured T Mobile IP ranges with more going up in the next few days if needed. - Quolnok (talk) 15:27, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
Blocking individual IPs was, I guess, a temporary solution before we found out how easy it is for him to come back from a new IP. 73.164.199.19 16:30, 8 October 2015 (CEST)
The only kind of crawling I'm doing to you is away. From. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:26, 8 October 2015 (CEST).
We just had our first non-diarrea vandalism in a while. 73.164.199.19 05:25, 23 October 2015 (CEST)
Where? Sanfazer: [talk] 23:08, 23 October 2015 (CEST).
On "Human horn" and another page. Quolnok took care of it. 73.164.199.19 01:53, 24 October 2015 (CEST)
*There are* other things. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:02, 24 October 2015 (CEST).

I need help

I improved the censorship page, but I'm worried that it hasn't turned out quite as well as I expected. Is that a problem? -- the preceding unsigned comment was written by LunchTime123.

I added a cleanup tag. Sanfazer: [talk] 23:48, 12 September 2015 (CEST).

Our problems have been solved!!

The reason you blocked me was Bender-related. The reason we had problems with Bender was that it was semi-automated (a one-click revert-block tool). Well, guess what, I found out how to make it so that the second you make the edit, it is disallowed and block you. It's time to kick it up a notch. If you willing to unblock me (you can leave bender blocked though, I won't need it anymore) then are you willing to hear my idea? 108.162.246.199 05:13, 13 January 2016 (CET)

What the hell?! That's not my IP.... 108.162.246.199 05:13, 13 January 2016 (CET)
I'm not. Sanfazer: [talk] 22:04, 13 January 2016 (CET).
Not what? 108.162.246.199 01:22, 14 January 2016 (CET)
Not unblocking me? Maybe you should at least hear my idea. It would save you an awful lot of time... 108.162.246.199 05:58, 14 January 2016 (CET)
No inclination. Sanfazer: [talk] 22:02, 14 January 2016 (CET).
You seriously said yourself that you've been dealing with him for as long as you can remember. Are you sure unblocking me is too large a price to pay to make the real vandal go away forever? 199.27.128.151 03:55, 15 January 2016 (CET)
Yes. Sanfazer: [talk] 22:02, 15 January 2016 (CET).
Why? You know perfectly well it was not done with intent to cause harm, and besides, it can't hurt to at least hear my idea? Blocks are to prevent someone from doing something---but you know I won't do it again, I won't have to with the problem hopefully already solved. 108.162.246.199 05:16, 17 January 2016 (CET)
And why was my Nalexa account even blocked? That account did NOTHING. 108.162.246.199 05:18, 17 January 2016 (CET)
"Why": I don't like you. And I will be ignoring you, until your block expires.
"You know perfectly well": I know few things perfectly well.
"You know I won't do it again": You're right, sentences are not for punishing offenders.
Oh wait, let me laugh even harder. Sanfazer: [talk] 22:14, 17 January 2016 (CET).

Please go easy on my wife

I know it's suspicious that I am writing from a vandals IP, but you must belive me. My wife and I share a phone. (I have a feeling she just vandalized and will continue after I hand the phone back.) Please go easy on her. She just got out of the mental hospital. I know it sounds weird but she needs to be doing this.

Whats Wrong Sanfazer?

You are letting Quonlook take over your job. Are you getting sick of Tina Belcher?

Less Sanfazer to dictate this wiki is a good thing, imo. It can be edited by anyone, not edited by anyone and HEAVILY revised by Sanfazer. DannyJC13 (talk) 22:19, 1 March 2016 (CET)
