Bolt Rolands is a Hyper-Sled racer who has scored ten wins in the current Pro-Circuit season. Bolt was very interested in Leela and Amy introduced them at the Hip Joint, although Leela's feelings were not mutual. Bender believes him to be gay, though he did not make use of his gaydar.

He makes an appearance in The Beast with a Billion Backs as one of Colleen's five boyfriends. He also apparently loves porno. He is later seen at the Trevi Fountain, where he is caught by a giant alien octopus.
