Gerald R. Ford was Vice President of the United States from 1973 and 1974 (serving under Richard Nixon), and later President from 1974 to 1977. He was the only person in American history to serve as President or Vice President without being elected to either office. In the 31st century, he resides at Head Museum with other former U.S. presidents.
