This article is about the ressurection machine that uses adult stem cells. For another machine capable of ressurecting people, see Reanimator.

The birthing machine is a creation of Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth. It was used to rebirth the PE crew members, LaBarbara, Zapp, and Kif after the crash that occurred after they emerged through the Panama Wormhole (6ACV01). It was also used to clone a new arm for Leela and for Fry.(7ACV02) It uses adult stem cells, harvested from perfectly healthy adults whom the Professor killed. Oddly enough, the machine can also restore Robots, Decapodians and Amphibiosans.

Trivia

• The Professor invented a similar machine in the game. The Reanimator works differently, but it has the same function as this device.
