The South Street Spaceport handles spaceport services to much of the Manhattan area and is also the point where many alien immigrants first arrive in New New York. The Spaceport is linked to the Tube Transport System so it can be easily accessed.

• It is named for the South Street Seaport, a historic section of lower Manhattan. It could also be a nod to The Simpsons, who have parodied South Street Seaport as South Street Squidport.
