Talk:Popular culture references

well, i for one, am not a big fan of this page. there are just way too many references to be said on this page and they should be left to their episode articles or main article (eg Star Wars)--My leg feels funny! 22:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

I have to agree - somewhat. My main problem with this article is that where does the limit go? I would say it should only be for "big things", but in general, those should be allowed to have their own article, and that includes 2001: A Space Odyssey. I wouldn't mind an "Allusions" article explain what an allusion is and having links to articles that deal in detail with a specific popular culture concept. --SvipTalk 22:16, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Well, then it should be the same case for In popular culture, right? — Chris of the Futurama 2 [ discuss | contribute ]
No. That article deals with other content mentioning of Futurama. There would no where else to put this, since we are not going to have an article about Journeyman or some such. This is not exactly a two-way street. --SvipTalk 22:34, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
I agree with the Allusions article. That would be good.--My leg feels funny! 23:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

delete this page then?--I'm Scruffy... the Janitor. 08:53, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes (i.e. I am deleting it now, I'll let the talk page remain to explain why for the future). --SvipTalk 09:06, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
