Bart Simpson is a character on the Simpsons. In Futurama, there is an episode, A Big Piece of Garbage, where Fry, Leela, and Bender are looking through garbage. Fry then calls out, "Look, a Bart Simpson doll!". He pulls a string, making Bart say "Eat my shorts". Bender replies by actually eating them.
