Dolomite is a mineral that made its first appearance in the episode "Jurassic Bark". It is "The tough black mineral that won't cop out when the heat's all about", but only for a few moments. Fry's dog, Seymour, was fast fossilized in "that righteous black mineral dolomite". Bender saves Fry's dog because he states "I'm 40% dolomite".
