Game of Thrones is an American fantasy-drama T.V. series. It premiered on 17 April 2011. Futurama has referenced it twice.
References to Game of Thrones in Futurama
- In "Fun on a Bun", Scruffy gives Bender a piece of paper that a raven that just flew through the window was carrying — a reference to the messenger ravens in Game of Thrones. [1]
- The titles of "Game of Tones" and Game of Drones are direct references to Game of Thrones.
- In "Night of the Automated Dead", it is revealed that the Hypnotoad has a spin-off show called Game of Toads.

- In the commentary for "Fun on a Bun", David X. Cohen says that Game of Thrones is one of his favourite shows.
- English actress Emilia Clarke, who plays the Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen, guest-stars in "Stench and Stenchibility", as Marianne, who becomes Zoidberg's girlfriend.
